My mom bought one of these 85th Anniversary bags in the Petit Gris. We wondered exactly what type of fur it was and researched it online to find out it was Squirrel! OMG! We asked the woman we bought it from and she did confirm. Nonetheless, the bag is fabulous! I bought a great Brit Messenger in Purple Patent Leather also fabulous. Just thought I would share.
I purchased a leather Gucci Evening Handbag, at the Gucci Store in New York City, in the early 80’s for my wife…the color was a deep maroon or oxblood…and I believe it had a gold colored chain as an optional strap…the purchase price was approximately $300…
this purse was stolen recently from our home and I am trying to replace it…I have checked on-line on several occassions however I have been unsuccessfull in locating one…please help…Thank You
