Givenchy’s Pre-Fall 2017 Collections Includes the New Infinity Bag and More

The brand is in that awkward period between two designers, but there's still some good new stuff in the latest collection

Givenchy is in an odd spot right now. Longtime creative director Riccardo Tisci has left the building, but incoming designer Clare Waight Keller from Chloé has yet to show her first collection for the brand. Givenchy’s accessories assortment has felt a bit phoned-in for a couple of seasons now, even before Tisci’s departure was rumored, so waiting out the transition of power seems like it’s taking even longer than it already is. I’m excited for Waight Keller’s Givenchy debut, which will be on the runway this October in Paris, but for now, we’re forced to lived in the moment, and that moment is the Givenchy Pre-Fall 2017 handbag lookbook.

The lookbook mostly features new colorways and detailings for longtime favorites like the Antigona, Nightingale and Pandora, but one new line is introduced, and it’s a good one: the Infinity Bags, which are simple, clean structures, mostly in black leather, accented with only a big, silver Cuban link chain in key places, depending on the design. Check out those bags and more below, including wallets, pouches and other small leather goods. (And yes, some Millennial Pink.)

If you see something you like, you can already purchase many of the designs in this lookbook via Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus.
