I am one of those paranoid types who normally holds my purse on my lap and lugs it on my shoulder in the grocery store. Now I can put my purse in the cart and lock it up to the cart. At restaurants I now put it on the back of my chair and lock it up. The zipper lock part is neat too. The nice thing about it is that it's so pretty. I get compliments on it all of the time.
