Presenting the 2010 PB Readers’ Choice Awards Winners!

Thousands of PurseBlog readers submitted their votes and now the results are in!

Balenciaga and Coach take the crown as our readers’ favorites for 2010. Honorable mentions are Chanel and Bottega Veneta, as well as Treesje and Alexander Wang, who took 4th and 5th in the premier and contemporary designer categories respectively.

Thanks to everyone who voted, we are looking forward to next year’s awards and will be following the upcoming designs of this year closely!

    Vicky, there was a vote, PF members could pick which were their favorites, these are not the personal decisions of the staff. PB, will this influence the bags posted about on the sites or was it more of a fun poll? (ipad)

      Thanks 19yearslater…I voted too, but only twice.
      But Kudos to Balenciaga as well…love their bags although haven’t gotten myself to venture out of my LV comfort zone :) I saw a First with Silver hardware today, and I think that has got me thinking It’s Bal Time :)

    I love Balenciaga and but am still surprised that it came out as #1, judging by the greater LV forum activity (by this I mean how many viewers at a time). Not surprised that Coach came in #1 in the contemporary category though! (ipad)

    I am also surprised by Balenciaga taking the top spot. Even though it is popular, I did not think that it was as well known and loved as brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

    Balenciaga I think it’s the beste brand of the last 5 years. Ghesquiere overtakeshimself every time and develops things that are so amazing :)

    I’d like to see Proenza Schouler or Bottega Veneta and not Mulberry, but ook :)

    I love that Coach won. They make wonderfully constructed handbags that last forever. And, there is something for everyone. Recently, I purchased a Hayden-Harnett bag from a resale shop, and I love it. I was surprised to see it because I have yet to see it in stores. The leather is wonderful and perfect for everyday use.
    For me, Balenciaga is one note. Other than the City bag, most of their styles are a little ho-hum and a shoot off from that one. I guess that this designer is just not my style. (iPad)

    I was glad to see Coach on top….but again everyone it’s all about who voted and why. I would have thought LV would have done better since like Coach it has the most people on most of the time. I’m glad I voted..(ipad)

    Congratulations to Hayden-Harnett for getting 2nd place. It was such a close race to the huge Coach brand! They should really be proud of themselves. Their amazing, unique designs and delicious leathers really make them an amazing contemporary brand. It’s no surprise they were chosen by Walt Disney Signature to design the Fantasia and Tron lines.

    i missed the poll but i am really surprised that BV and chanel did not figure in the top three.
    LV is no surprise though i personally do not like the brand’s offerings at all. I think the only bag i liked from lV was the neverfull in croc. it looked so luxurious. though no hope of owning that one in the near future (ipad)
