Lanvin bags are typically synonymous with feminine and beautiful. When it comes to this feathered bag however, Lanvin is teetering on the edge of gorgeous and a total miss.     I like the bag part, but I would carry it as a clutch. The Tassel + feathers + thin chain + thick chain = too much.

    may be acceptable for a premier,..or a cosmetic event,…the functionality would be over after 5 minutes of pretend use,….feather’s would look like dried diaper pieces,….hung together by a thick chain….

    Who wants to look at though their handbag has a horse’s mane on the strap.

    the feathers in the bag, when you walk, (or stomp the runway) looks like it’s floating.. it exudes grace and elegance, so i guess that’s what he was thinking when he put the feathers.. i guess a mix of the hard(the industrial chains) and the soft (feathers) is what he wants to interpret..

    Probably not very practical. I have a bag that has just a tassle on the chain and I’m always worrying about where the tassle is when I put it down so I don’t accidentally rip it off. I can’t imagine the stress this purse would cause me.

    I think that this bag is really sweet looking. It’s also very versatile. Did anyone notice that the chain can come off the bag? Not only can it turn into a clutch but the chain can become a really cool edgy necklace. At $1185 I think you can get your money’s worth out of this bag.
