I, like nearly every other person, not only owns a pair of black Hunter Wellies, but I have found a very special place in my heart for them. The boots are kind of clunky and a wee bit heavy to walk in, but they keep my feet dry and warm, both aspects are very important on cold rainy/snowy days.

Like me, I am sure when you think of Hunter you think of boots. Yet I ran into this Halle Leather Tote from Hunter Boots and decided it certainly needed to be discussed. When it first hit my browser, the large H grabbed my attention. When I think of H, Hermes comes to mind. Could you get over that and carry this bag? Buy via Neiman Marcus for $495.

good for someone whose initial is H. I don’t think Hunter purses are well-established enough to do this, like Coach, Louis Vuitton and Fendi are.

…okay, but I’m not into branding very much, but especially not branding that looks like “pretend” branding, as in pretend Hermes.

is almost wearable. I agree with everyone who’s said that the H looks like pretend Hermes and that the brand hasn’t established itself firmly enough in the world of bags for a branded tote to really be wearable. If they’d just cut the piping from either the top of the bottom of the H I think it would be cute and interesting without looking like it’s trying so hard.
