I don’t know about you, but the name Salvatore Ferragamo tends to make my heart skip a beat. My love for Ferragamo doesn’t stop at handbags; from shoes to clothing to handbags, I am seldom disappointed. As much as I love hearing about exclusives, I have to say, I am ten times more thrilled to share great news and insight with others.
Ferragamo Handbags and Purses(Page 7)
Salvatore Ferragamo may be known for shoes, but the new line of handbags has me swooning. Not just a little bit of love, but there is a heavy amount of lust, or yearning, of floating on cloud 9. Part of the problem that many of us face with Ferragamo handbags is that we do not see the full line, the entire array.
Salvatore Ferragamo Apollonia Bag
Salvatore Ferragamo is a brand known for its ready-to-wear and picturesque shoes (that are divinely comfortable might I add). The shoes are statement pieces that stand on their own immaculately. But the handbags from Salvatore Ferragamo are not as well known as the shoes, but they should be. While I have not loved every Ferragamo bag, I have found an ultimate drool-worthy bag from the company, one so lovely that it is officially on my want/need list.
Monday is obviously all about metallics. While too much metallic on too large a handbag can be too dominant. Spice up your wardrobe with metallic accessories, such as a clutch. I am in love with the cute and feminine Salvatore Ferragamo Gancio Banshee Clutch. Always a fan of Ferragamo shoes, the handbags have slowly made their way into my handbag spectrum.
A fashion staple are sexy simple shoes and a sexy practical bag. Do you ever notice how the perfect pair of jeans and a perfect fitting white tee can be the sexiest outfit ever? The same goes for a handbag. Refined and to-the-point is just as sassy and elegant as ornate. My go to designer for great shoes that are easy to wear for many occasions is Salvatore Ferragamo.
This is precisely what happens when a designer has absolutely no idea what to do next. Salvatore Ferragamo, I love your shoes, have had crushes on a few of your bags, but this bag is down right nasty looking. There must be some sort of protocol or list that had to be met for the season; as in there must be 15 new bags produced.
Labor day has passed, but white is still completely hot and completely perfect for winter. For your winter wonderland bag, take a look at the Salvatore Ferragamo Ganci Leather Shoulder Bag which combines silky magnolia cream kidskin, black edging, and a pleated body. The shoulder straps are what catch my attention because of their wooden ring insets. Granted I have not seen this bag in person, but the belted gussets with wooden Gancini buckles take away from the wooden ring shoulder strap.
Brown and simple the Salvatore Ferragamo Sami Kidskin Hobo can be toted for everyday wear and no fuss. This rich leather bag sports a few quilted accents and ruched detailing on the side of the bag. Silvertone hardware is sleek and simple. This hobo bag also has double shoulder straps, a top zip closure, canvas lining and inside pockets. Measuring 8″H X 14″L X 6″W, this bag is as simple as it seems via Saks for $1190.
So far I think animal print day has gone well. But there is always the bad. Let me introduce you to the ugly duckling cousin of the Zebra. The Salvatore Ferragamo Fur Trim Haircalf Bag is way too much for my liking. This bag is designed from Zebra-print haircalf along with rabbit fur patch pockets. I bet the rabbit fur will automatically turn some of you away from the bag, that is, if you haven’t already decided this bag is a no go thanks to its first impression.
I’m starting off with a warning right now; any of you who are not fans of baby exotic furs, don’t read on! But for those of us who appreciate handbags designed from different animal furs, this bag may be a supple secret you were searching for. The Salvatore Ferragamo Llama/Leather Puff Bag is crafted from luxurious baby llama (I know, having to say the word ‘baby’ in there even makes me cringe just a little bit).
