The Many Bags of New York Fashion Week Fall 2017’s Celebrity Attendees

New York’s February Fashion Weeks are never quite as much fun as September’s. Mid-February is always a period of particularly brutal winter weather in the Northeast, and New York Fashion Week Fall 2017 saw a blizzard, sleet and wind gusts strong enough to knock over a small adult, all spread out on different days. That didn’t stop the week’s most intrepid show-goers, though, and thankfully they brought with them plenty of good bags for us to gawk over.

Below, we found the best bags on the arms of celebrities, bloggers, industry insiders and high-profile editors; there’s plenty of accessory inspo to be had.

Adriana Lima
Jason Wu Diane Shoulder Bag
$1,377 via Neiman Marcus

I had to look at pictures of Adriana from Jason Wu’s show very carefully before I was sure it was her because, honestly, I’m not used to seeing her in non-Victoria’s Secret styling.

Aimee Song
Chloé Drew Bag
$1,750 via Nordstrom

When it’s too cold to take your coat off completely but you still want everyone to see your cool shirt.

Alexa Chung
Proenza Schouler Hava Shoulder Bag
$2,250 via Proenza Schouler

Some celebs who don’t usually show for NYFW came around to give Proenza Schouler one last hurrah before the brand decamps for Paris Fashion Week next season. Alexa was among them.

A$AP Rocky
Balenciaga Nylon Bag
Shop via Balenciaga

I, for one, am all in favor of more male celebs showing up to places with bags in their hands.

Ashley Graham
Chanel Boy Bag
Shop Chanel Boy Bags via Vestiaire Collective

Ashley is seen here arriving to walk in her first-ever NYFW show for Michael Kors.

Bella Hadid
Dior Diorever Mini Bag
Shop Dior via Vestiaire Collective

Gotta rep the brand sponsors, even when you’re leaving another brand’s show.

Camila Coehlo
Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Clutch
$5,750 via Louis Vuitton

If you’re not familiar with Camila, she’s one of Brazil’s biggest fashion stars.

Caroline Daur
Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily Bag
$1,995 via farfetch.com

Speaking of international fashion bloggers at NYFW: Caroline is from Germany.

Caroline Daur
Givenchy Logo Pouch
$575 via Nordstrom

She has nearly a million Instagram followers, so clearly I have some catching up to do.

Caroline de Maigret
Chanel Shoulder Bag
Shop Chanel via Vestiaire Collective

I always figured Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel had an exclusive on Caroline’s fashion week appearances, but she crossed the pond for Proenza Schouler’s last New York show.

Drew Barrymore
Coach Fringe Dinky Bag
$595 via Coach

I sat near Drew at Coach’s Pre-Fall 2017 show in December, and I don’t know what kind of skincare products she uses, but whatever they are, they’re worth the money.

Elsa Hosk
Littledoe Praia Basket
$350 via Littledoe
Romee Strijd
Alexander Wang Attica Crossbody Bag
$650 via Saks

Regular celebrities never seem to travel in packs, but models always do. Do you think it’s for warmth?

Emma Roberts
Coach Dinkier Bag
$295 via Coach

This is a brand new micro version of the Coach Dinky Bag.

Gigi Hadid
M2Malletier Python Backpack
$3,025 via farfetch.com

Can’t have a fashion week without both Hadids, I suppose.

Greta Gerwig
Gabriela Hearst Nina Bag

Apparently Hearst has added at least one colorway for this cult favorite handbag.

Jamie Chung
Kate Spade Cameron Street Casie Bag
$348 via Nordstrom

We featured this little bag earlier this week because boxy, train case-style bags are about to be everywhere.

Jennifer Morrison
Kate Spade Rambling Roses Crossbody Bag
$328 via Shopbop

I know Jennifer probably doesn’t want to be known as “oh yeah that doctor lady from House!!” but that’s always the first thing that pops into my head.

Jessica Hart
Tory Burch Floral Pom Pom Clutch
$350 via Tory Burch

Pom poms have become what I’d call an accessories microtrend; they haven’t really infiltrated bags yet, but they may be coming for us.

Joanna Hillman
Chanel Boy Bag
Shop Chanel Boy Bags via Vestiaire Collective

No matter what else you’re wearing, I feel like a red lip and a black Chanel bag are always a chic combo.

Julianne Moore
Alexander Wang Rogue Bag
$1,195 via Alexander Wang

I just googled Julianne Moore’s age, out of curiosity, and did you know she’s 56? Like, how can that be possible?

Kate Bosworth
3.1 Phillip Lim Alix Clutch
$895 via SSENSE

I’ve always been a big fan of the Alix bags and thought they never quite got their due; it looks like Kate Bosworth might agree.

Leighton Meester
Hunting Season Compact Clutch
$975 via Moda Operandi

I can never judge Leighton objectively because she’s Blair Waldorf and therefore can do no wrong in my mind.

Nicky Hilton
Hermès Kelly Pochette

Over the years, Nicky really has figured out how to nail this exact type of classic American femininity.

Nicky Hilton
Hermès Medor Clutch

I feel like I shouldn’t like this sweater, and yet: I do.

Peyton List

We’re not exactly sure who makes this little orange bag, but Peyton was headed to the Carolina Herrera show at the time, so that might be a clue.

Romee Strijd
Chloé Drew Bag
$1,950 via SSENSE

The Drew may not be brand new anymore, but models and bloggers alike still adore it, even when they’re headed to a different brand’s shows.

Sistine Stallone
MICHAEL Michael Kors Sloan Flap Bag
$328 via Michael Kors

As you might have guessed by her last name, Sistine is one of Sylvester Stallone’s daughters.

Tavi Gevinson
Coach Dinkier Bag
$295 via Coach

I feel like Tavi is such a good match for Coach’s quirkier, more luxurious aesthetic of late.

Winnie Harlow
MCM Vanity Case
$495 via Shopbop

See, what did I tell you guys about the vanity cases?
