Milan Fashion Week Fall 2016 is in the books, and before the good bags start hitting the runways in Paris, we wanted to take a look back and see which designers made the biggest accessories impression in Italy. We covered impressive collections from Gucci, Prada and Fendi in detail, but they weren’t the only shows in town by a long shot.
Milan doesn’t field the enormous volume of runway shows that NYFW does, but in many ways, that’s for the best, especially for bag buyers. Italy is known for its leather, and almost every show we checked out included plenty of leather goods worth noticing. We’ve assembled the 20 most noteworthy below, including surprisingly strong showings from both Bally and Versace.
