Kenley’s abilities mixed with her inborn sense of style and wearability is by far the best this season had to offer. No one had her terrific sense of color. What people don’t appreciate about her was true artistry that she was able to translate into fashion.
Being a woman who adores fashion who wears some of the best designers, a key here that some people don’t get is a good woman designer can dress a woman like nobody else. She’s got what it takes to make a woman’s body look good and feel beautiful.
Korto’s colors could only look alright on a black woman. Sorry but us fair of face cannot wear canary yellow or bright lime green, and the long caftan looking dresses doesn’t quite cut it.
Leanne’s petals were a broken record of bad music.
Kenley will go places regardless of Leanne’s token win because she was the boring one and didn’t stand up to the judges, only to punish Kenley for being a naughty girl. They did make a point to say Kenley will be somebody, meaning we would have chosen you if you wern’t nasty to us. As far as I’m concerned the win was stolen from KENLEY.

Personality shouldn’t have anything to do with winning Project Runway. Besides, it looks like Kenley did try at the end to get along with everyone. It’s the sewing that counts and from what I’ve seen on the Finale Part 1, Kenley’s collections blew me away. Leanne’s, and I was surprised, was too bland and all that fanning gets boring after a while. I expected more from Leanne. Korto’’s collection didn’t do a thing for me.

Gahh! As much as I have always loved Leanne, and had a distaste for Kenley, I think that comparitively, (since Jerrell’s and Korto’s dresses just didn’t cut it for me at all), Kenley may have had the better dress. That’s hard for me to say, but it looks neater, and I’ve seen Leanne’s dress done on PR many times (the ever-present ruffled mess over the shoulder look). However, Kenley’s dress was also just a variation of an oh-so common silhouette… it’s just that it looks a little more professional.

I do hope that Leanne wins this season, though. She’s adorable! Kenley’s attitude is so infantile. If she can’t take criticism, she shouldn’t have signed up for PR.

And to Cyndee: They’ve done that on all of the past seasons as well. It’s to throw people off so that nobody will know who actually advanced to the final before the episode airs.

Jerrell was the BEST designer and kept the show very interesting. Without him, who cares who wins!! I just hope it’s not Kenley,her clothes are HORRIFIC.

I am confused. I watched Project Runway tonight season 5. Korto,Kenley and Leann won and get to show the collections at fashion week. So why when I go to Utube, I see Suede’s collection and a bunch of others on the runway! What is up with that?????????

I don’t care for Kenley, but why are the other designers allowed to get away with treating her just as awful? None of them are behaving like grownups–in fact it’s like watching a bunch of high schoolers in detention. Kenley needs to learn discretion and grace, but the others should get out of the pack mentality, because it makes them all ugly.

Yeah I am sooooooo sick of Kenley. And I was happy when Korto told her off. Jerrell is right about her she makes a 50’s style dress and that is it!!!!!!! Her personality takes away from her designs and that shouldn’t be. I guess to the powers that be she is at least good tv so they keep her around. I really want to see Korto, Leann and Jerrell in the final three!!! I hope that she (if she makes it) can TRY a little humbleness (I hope that’s a word lol).

Just wanted to say I have enjoyed reading your posts each week. You seem to think like the average viewer, like me. I must agree that the only thing holding Kensley back is her inability to step outside herself and realize that even if she was picked on as a child, adults are not doing that to her now, therefore there is no need to meet everyones comments with aggression… I have one word for her, THERAPY.

Ok, So I think Jerell should definitely show (i love that he listed Karl Lagerfeld as his favorite designer – he is my favorite designer/photographer). I also think Kortho deserves to be there, besides the last challenge she has made gorgeous pieces that can be used as separates and has had flawless designs. My last pick is Leanne, she has made some dumpy coats that covered beautiful dresses and has bad color choice… but Kensley has just bad choices all together, when she dressed the girl for work, hideous, when she designed for DVF she didn’t have ANY zing or accessory clothing… she is just a one trick pony that i HOPE the judges don’t include just to see some weirdness in the show.

As always, I loved Jerell’s. However, they all missed a great opportunity to wow the judges.
They had everything to make something amazing and it was blah.

i think final 3 will be leanne, jerrell and korto, however, i am with the judges in that i do want to see what kenley’s collection will look like. korto is amazing and i think she should win – she definitely has the best taste (except this time). jerrell is always edgy and i think he’s getting better, but i still feel like he’s inconsistent. and leanne…her rouches and ruffles do look a little sad and overdone these days i think the problem with this season for me is that noone can even come close to christian siriano’s talent level!

I think Leanne will win, however I do agree with a previous poster who said she was inconsistent. I like Korto, Jerill and Leanne for the top three. Why do they keep hinting at that there will be a cut at the top four, when we all know it won’t be. Alas I am excited to get this season over with, and finally on to next season.

Why is it that Kenley remained on? Is that answer on the cutting room floor? Maybe the producers got their 2 cents worth in there (ratings, ratings, ratings) and Kenley is that lightening rod of tension that keeps viewers coming back to see what will she do nextt week. Hmmmm just a thought.

I am so glad to hear you guys say that you think something’s missing from this season. The designers don’t seem to be as adventuresome or edgy and most of the challenges feel tired ( been there, done that ). Korto seems technically excellent (and personally she’s my fav for the season) and Leanne has shown some sharp moments of artistic edge (as in the bongo butt dress). But Leanne can be inconsistent and joyless. Maybe it’s the spirit of the designers, I’m not feeling the passion; even though they each emoted their desires. If Kenley ends up in the top 3, all I can say is “Goodness Gracious, Great Balls of Tulle”

Yes, Kenley is very annoying and rude. I think Jerrel, Korto, & Leanne are very talented. However, I think Jerrel will win based on his Bryant Park collection that was showing on Bravo. His collection looked very sophisticated.

I think Leanne will win, but Korto may surprise us. I have loved her looks and think she’s very innovative and her stuff is very wearable. Kenley should have been sent home in my humble opinion, but I knew they would keep her own for drama…I still can’t get over what she did to Leanne in the last episode.

Ugh…I was SO irritated when they did the whole “nobody is elimated…you all have to prove yourself again blah blah blah…” To me, it was VERY clear that Kenley should have gone home. While I wasn’t very impressed with any of the designs, Kenley’s dress was the worst. It looked like a comical attempt at a Betsey Johnson type design. It was hideous- the pattern was just cheap looking and the fish scales at the bottom?… I mean, COME ON!!! I am really hoping that Jerrel, Korto, and Leanne will be the final three. I have a feeling that somehow Kenley will manage to squirm her way in though. I think that the overall winner will be a close call between Leanne and Korto, but Leanne will win.

I kinda felt sorry for Kenley in this episode because the other three were ganging up on her. Granted, she’s been annoying the past couple of episodes but still, I kinda felt sorry that no other contestant was on her side.

Sorry, I’m getting old and turning into a bleeding heart.

I think she’ll get the boot next episode. Not because of her attitude but because she doesn’t have much talent compared to the other three.

And I think Korto will win. She was just stressed this episode.
