I have chosen not to pass judgment on this bag, rather let you all make the decision. We all know the Jimmy Choo Ramona, Mahala, and Clutch have garnered a following. But what about this Mona? The Jimmy Choo Mona Large Tote features a black leather and suede body with gold hardware. The tote sports a zip fastening around the middle, which makes this bag act as an accordion, being able to lengthen or compact at the middle. By undoing the central zip, the bag becomes larger and will expose the logo plaque. The inside is lined in suede and has lilac ribbon trim. Buy through Net A Porter for $1,995.

There is a lot going on with this clutch. Not only is there a brown and white zebra print pattern, but the material is ponyskin. And Choo has added another dimension with the gray watersnake trim that seems to have a bit of a glimmer and shine to it. The Marin clutch has been a huge hit for Jimmy Choo, but is the Jimmy Choo Marin Zebra Clutch fab or drab? This is the oversized version, which if you don’t realize it, is huge. The dimensions are 14.5″ W x 9″ H. While NAP shows this with a moo moo-esque dress (better known as a Temperley London kaftan), this clutch would look great with a very simple outfit; skinny jeans, white top, and sexy heels. Does the ponyskin/watersnake/zebra combo put this bag over the top for you in a good way or bad way? Available through Net A Porter for $1,875.

Just as the Chloe Bay Bag began to warm up to me, Chloe releases in in a fresh new look. But is this look appealing or is it too stark? The Chloe Patent Leather Bay Bag sports white patent leather with contrast green zipper detailing. The color combination makes me feel like this would be in a tennis ad with Maria Sharapova. The rest of the bag is like the other Bay bags, sporting a large zip compartment on top, a double zip fastening compartment on each side, and canvas lining. It is fresh, and clean, but is it the right look? Via Net A Porter for $2100.

Upon first glance, the use of geometry draws you into the Fendi Patchwork Textured Clutch. The tortoiseshell plate offsets the textured shades of brown, black, and white leather. While this is deemed a clutch, the dimensions are indeed oversized, measuring 17″ W x 13.5″H. The should strap would come in handy, when the clutch got in your way as a solely hand held bag. But do they lines and shapes lure you in? Via NAP for $2370.

Marc Jacobs has been pushing his handbag line hoping to make it a great contender with the already popular designer handbags out there. As prices increase, Marc Jacobs is pushing his collection to go up against the on-top and expensive handbags in the fashion industry. The Marc Jacobs Hutton Clutch features black woven leather, reminiscent of Bottega Veneta yet not as intricate or delicate, along with a contrast flap over top. An ornate turnlock fastening on the front finishes the outside off, while the inside is lined with beige leather and there is a zip pocket. Dimensions are 11″ x 7″ x 2″. Buy through Net A Porter for $1550.

Are you ga-ga for green or is this green handbag gross? The Chloe Audra Patent Satchel is designed with shocking green patent leather and is finished off with silvertone hardware. Contrasting trim adds a dimension to the bag, as does the front pocket with turn-lock closure. There are double top shoulder straps with an 8″ drop. On the inside, like many Chloe bags, there is canvas lining and a zip pocket. Dimensions are 15½”W X 10″H X 7″D. Available at Saks for $1755.

Eye-catching red stamped patent leather is accented with gold hardware on the Vivienne Westwood Red Label Bowling Bag. This handbag is a hand-held bowling bag and touts an oversized orb logo on the front. A zip fastening across the top, zipped pocket on the inside, and orb embossed lining finish off the bag. Again with my being tardy, I am sorry. A brunch date turned into a brunch/talk/shopping date with one of my friends. But she was asking me about buying a white handbag with a little extra flair. I told her I’d look for something, and then wham, I saw this bag from Celine. The Celine Embroidered Leather Bag is designed with nude soft leather and tonal stitched chain link embroidery and silver hardware. The embroidery is easy to be seen, but not overpowering. Then again, because it is not predominant, will it lose its wow factor? There are double straps, a top zip fastening, and brown chain link lining to compliment the outer embroidery. Available via NAP for $1500.

Prada hit huge with their Gauffre bags last season, and are trying to go big again with fading colors this season. But is the fade going to make a huge comeback? The Prada Ombre Patent Leather Tote is offered in a red version, that fades from black to red to white, and a black version that fades from black to gray to white. Black leather trim and pull tabs accent the patent leather body along with silver tone hardware. There is chunky buckle detailed top handles and a removable buckle detailed shoulder strap. I love the two front key fobs, which include a removable buckle-detailed logo tag with cruise ship motif. The tote is great, even the patent leather is a winner, but what are your thoughts on the fade? Will it be a huge hit for Prada or an over-priced miss? Buy via Saks Fifth Ave for $2270.

The next best thing to having a crocodile bag, is looking like you have a crocodile bag. Miu Miu is keeping on their toes by designing an embossed crocodile bag that is much more affordable and looks ultra chic. The Miu Miu Crocodile Embossed Patent Satchel is available in either luscious moror dark brown or creamy talco ivory. The hardware is goldtone which adds a classy appeal. There are top handles with rings, a removable shoulder strap, and a zip top closure. Choose moro (dark brown, shown) or talco (ivory) crocodile-embossed patent leather. Yummy via Saks for $1240.

The petrol (blue-gray) color used for this leather hobo bag is stunning. It is a toned down blue, which makes it easy to wear often. But the two turnlock fastening pockets on the front of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Faridah Hobo Bag resemble the backside of someone wearing jeans, which is a negative attribute in a handbag. The hobo shape adds a slouchy feel and there is a zip fastening pocket at the top, one shoulder strap, brass hardware, and canvas lining. Can you look past the human like front pockets, or is it grabbing your attention in a bad way also? It is unfortunate, because I like front pockets. Just not sure they work out well on this bag. Luella bags have not been spoken about recently on the site, but there is a new season bag that needs to be deemed fab or drab from the house of Luella. The Luella Large Beanie Bowling Bag sports black leather along with ponyskin. On the front, two large tassels and a zip fastening can be found. Are you a fan of the tassels or are they too much for you? Gold hardware ads a nice touch to the black along with black suede lining on the inside. Two small open pouches, a small zipper pouch and two press stud pouches are also inside additions. I can think of two main reasons many will not like this bag: 1) the ponyskin and 2) the tassels. Finally, some fall bags are popping up here and the vast space we know as the internet. The Jimmy Choo Alex Suede Shoulder Bag showcases lush brown or black suede with watersnake trim. Stitched detail on the front along with double straps add to the outside appeal. Quite a few designers are opting for lilac lining, and I love it. Completely feminine and a refreshing option when you open your purse. But does this new Jimmy Choo release do it for you?

A new release, the Jimmy Choo Taytan Clutch shows off sultry red nappa leather with watersnake trim and beautiful gold hardware. There is a buckle detailed strap around the base. Jimmy Choo bags are notorious for the buckle detailing (maybe comes easy to them since they are shoe gods), and this clutch has three buckles on the front of the bag. A flap closure and chain link shoulder strap finish this bag off. So many of us have been head over heels for the Jimmy Choo Foldover Clutch, but will the Taytan make its way into your hearts? Chloe is well known for their heavy leather, chunky accessories, and paddlocks but now they would like to break into a new dimension. Braided leather. We all know that Bottega Veneta lives on top of the world with their woven leather, but can Chloe break in at all? The Chloe Heloise Bag features a stunning shade of taupe leather with gold tone hardware and a chunky braided top handle. The shape of the bag is fresh, with a pleated front, tabbed side, and zip top closure. Dimensions are 13″H x 14 4/5″W x 7″D. Via Saks for $1670.

So many have gone gag-ga over the Chloe Paddington bag, from the leather rendition to the croc. For Fall 2007, Chloe has released the Chloe Jacquard Paddington that is more affordable and made with Jacquard canvas and trimmed in leather. The price point is right under $1000 at Luisa via Roma.

The craze for the Prada Gaufre has hardly died down and we all know the craze to be in style will never leave. What about the oversized clutch craze? Are you in or out?
