Diane von Furstenberg Crocodile Wrap Bag

We have an update on the Diane von Furstenberg bag we brought you earlier this week. The Diane von Furstenberg Crocodile Wrap Bag costs $10,000. It is the epitome of casual-chic with a touch of exotic refinement! But the price tag is very high. Start counting pennies in your piggy bank. For now, I am sticking to loving the leather version. This is going to be a huge hit for DvF and really put her name into the handbag market.

For $10,000 it should not look like some weird craft project.

for 10,000 i feel like it should look somewhat more fabulous. Don’t get me wrong the croc is amazing but I just can not see spending 10k on this.

m you’re right, it’s too expensive… and too snob. i like more a classic and urban style, something like this : http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0XvxBM7hJI
maybe too much urban, but i like the design of the bags and also the idea of the spot.

I went to see this bag yesterday at the DVF Boutique on Melrose. While the leather is gorgeous, I saw it as a tote with a twist. It wasn’t interesting enough for me to purchase the bag.

i don’t really like it personally…. when i see it, it just looks like a tote folded over, not a bag style of it’s own. it just looks a little frumpy to me.

Why is this bag so expensive? Is it hand done by a top craftsman like Hermes handbags? I don’t understand the 10k price tag…
