Petunia Pickle Bottom Dogwood Blossom Bag

It has been a while since I have paid homage to the momma’s with babies out there. It is kinda funny, because you would think I pay more attention to it all- seeing that I am a part time nanny of sorts. I watch the most adorable little girl who has a baby brother or sister on the way. Ask me about all the latest DVD’s, toys, and craze for the life of a 2 year old, I know it. Right now I am starting to think of a baby bag for the expecting mom. For a late spring/early summer baby, a bag adorned with flowers is practical and fun just like the Petunia Pickle Bottom Dogwood Blossom Bag. All that is packed into this bag is what is truly important for a mom with baby on hip, but the color arrangement is beautiful, including a brown/teal/raspberry/tan floral brocade. The slue of add-ons include a shoulder strap with a cell phone holder, a key clip, front and side pockets, a detachable stinky diaper pouch (we know how bad the smell gets), water-resistant liner making it easy to clean, four bottle pockets, a wipe case, a changing station, and ample room at 14″H x 15″W x 4 1/2″D. The price is right ($175 through Neiman Marcus), and in my opinion the bag has all a mom could want. What do you mother’s think?
I’m a mom and a webseller too, so let me put in my four cents (two cents for each role!). We started selling so many of these bags through an affliate that I had get my own and see what all the fuss was about.
I put the bag to the test (I have two toddlers under the age of three) and was pleasantly surprised to see how hearty this bag is!
It’s also really easy to clean, which is certainly not true of most designer diaper bags.
I beg to differ.. I used to own a Petunia Pickle bag. It snagged like crazy and didnt hold its shape after a few months of use. It got all saggy. Plus I have to really lol because eay to clean and Petunia Pickle should not be in the same sentence. They are dry clean only! So unless you consider dry clean as easy to clean… then note Petunia bags are not so easy to take care of.
I’m a big fan of PPB bags too. I’ve owned 2 PPB bags for the last 3 years and just recently had to have my Blossom Roll Shoulder bag cleaned which was only a minor inconvenience for all the compliments I get on it. And I was able to hand wash my Toddle Tote in the Velveteen since it’s more of an upholstery-type fabric. Like the previous poster, I was a bit skeptical about how the bags would hold up since they look so stylish, but I was surprised how much they held and how functional they are. I can’t wait to try out their new Cake bags – they look delicious!
like Carrie my PPB has snagged like crazy. I don’t even take it out of the car really. I was given this bag by my mother in law in pink lady I think it is? black with pink on it… you can’t tell if it’s dirty which is a plus, but I’d much rather carry my coach my husband got or the ju ju be my sister’s gave
I have always loved PPB. I have seen them change through the years and like everything I have seen! They are genious!
I find Petunia Pickle Bottom bags to be the most impractical diaper bags ever! I have a Moroccan Roll Should Bag and the fabric frays everywhere. I can’t even use it anymore because everytime I do, it frays more and more! Their customer service department is awful and won’t let me return the diaper bag no matter what. They told me that because the fabric is brocade, I should have known that there would be some fraying! Stick with Coach or Kate Spade because their diaper bags are WAY better than Petunia’s!!!
