I like top part of the bag but not really crazy about the satin. Not only would it be difficult to care for but it seems a little out of place. I think of a satchel as more rugged. Coach bags really lack the the quality and classiness that they used to be known for. This bag looks so cheap and gaudy if I didnt know better I would think it was from a cheap discount chain.

I love this bag. I purchased two of the amanda bags (fushia and black) at Macy’s on sale for $187. I’m still hunting for another color. The bags are nice size and can be dressed up or down.

NEWS FLASH ….. SMALL COACH LEAH OP ART EMBOSSED PATENT LEATHER. Only available in the States and on the web in fushia (gag me) as of 1/16/09. Saw a neutral ‘putty’ in Los Cabos, Mexico. Was told by Coach customer service that ‘putty’ MAY become available later in the season – closer to spring. Their ‘putty’ is definitely a spring/summer color. As much as I wanted the putty purse, I would not buy it in Los Cabos. The Coach store there wanted US$398.00 for it – yes, for the small size! The fushia in the small size goes for US$198.00 online and in stores. I’ll wait and trust my luck.
