Roberto Cavalli Serpent Bracelet Clutch

Roberto Cavalli Serpent Bracelet ClutchOk, one of these days I am going to own a Roberto Cavalli handbag. That’s right everyone, I’ve decided, it is something that I must do! Before I start talking about this specific handbag, I’ll state the obvious – Roberto Cavalli handbags are not cheap. Almost every Cavalli bag I see has some sort of craftsmanship or attention to detail that I truly love. Take the Roberto Cavalli Serpent Bracelet Clutch for example. At first glance, the green satin absolutely jumps out and for all the right reasons. The color is gorgeous. And as I continued to look, I couldn’t get past the detachable serpent bracelet – I love it. Keep the bracelet on the bag and it works; take the bracelet off and put it on your wrist and that works too! The clutch is secured with a press stud and once you open the clutch you will find it is fully lined and sports a small zip pocket. Now that I think about it, once I own a Cavalli bag, I promise to use it with my (select) casual outfits just as much as my fancy outfits. That will help to justify the price, right? So, what do you think – is a Cavalli handbag worth lusting over? Buy through Net-a-Porter for $910.

Now THIS is hot! Love the emerald green satin AND the swanky bracelet attached. Having recently purchased a satin clutch, I need to tell you of my own experience.

    1) I set my clutch on a bathroom counter to wash my hands and ended up with a large water stain. Also, my hand was sweaty from dancing in a hot club and when I grabbed it, I left another mark. There are still faint outlines of them both.

    2) My jewelry snagged the satin. So, I would be a bit leary of the attached bracelet!

Maybe I’m just careless when it comes to my handbags though! From my experience, i will never pay top dollar for satin handbags again. They don’t last.

I don’t know if this is something I would spend almost a grand on regardless of how pretty it is (which it is). I think I would need leather or something of the sort to justify me using up almost all my rent money for something. Also like the previous comment says – satin will need certain maintenance and I don’t really want to treat it like it’s an antique when I’m wearing it for day and night. I vote no. Sure is purty though. :)

This clutch is GORGEOUS It is the exact “pop” of color an outfit needs. A little pricey for just a “pop”…but I can appreciate the design and quality.

I love all bags. My husband says I have to many now .The consept of having more than 10 bags and 30 plus shoes is nothing like having a tool box. right?!
    haha!

This is indeed FABULOUS – but I would be wary of a satin bag for all of the reason named by natasha above.

But someday I WILL own something by Cavali – his animal prints/jewelry are just insane and I love them!

I always find myself in black shirts whether that be with a good pair of jeans or black slacks. My accessories are my burst of color that I need to liven up my clothing selections – love this clutch! I am with you… maybe one day….

Really gorgeous but kinda pricey for satin. I have ruined a good few satin bags too.

This look is going to be big this year… but not the green…. most people don’t like green, it’s more of a winter colour and is very far off for the year. Plus the bag itself looks tacky. I can make you one of these that’s better. If you buy the bracelet which is not that expensive, or a Kenneth Jay Lane cheaper alternative but still as beautiful, I’ll even sew it on for you!

The color seems fantastic and just what i’ve been wanting to see women wear. the snake bracelet gives a kick to boring old clutches, making this a pretty great bag for spring summer. The best part is that if you tire of it, you can keep the bracelet and sell the clutch on ebay LOL!
