Jimmy Choo Marin Leather Clutch

This exact clutch is one of my favorites. I love that Jimmy Choo continues to release it in new colors, designs, and materials to appeal to the masses. While many of you were not keen on the Jimmy Choo Marin Zebra Clutch (nor was I), this version should appeal to most everyone. The Jimmy Choo Marin Leather Clutch has been given a subtle natural makeover and is ready for year-around-wear with its camel leather and matte gold hardware. The camel leather is divine; very elegant and very easy to transition from season to season and day to night. This is the large version, but large clutches are in so it should be no worry. There is also a large detachable wrist strap which makes for ease of carrying. The flap-over leads to the suede lining. This neutral color is stunning and ideal for the lover of this Jimmy Choo handbag. Buy through NAP for $1,250.

White handbags are a must have for spring and summer. I have always had a love hate relationship with white handbags. They give such a clean, polished, sophisticated look, but also attract dirt. No matter how anal and careful I am with my white handbags, somehow the random dust storm that hits Florida once ever 1,000,000,000 years gets on my bag. Either way, I do not avoid white bags, I embrace them and wear them and hope that I can keep it clean. The clean lines of the Oscar de la Renta Doheny Oversized Clutch look smashing with the white crinkle patent leather. While the oversized handbag trend is hurting our shoulders, the oversized clutch trend is on its way in and will not be going out anytime soon. Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Box Clutch

Oh how this clutch has me jumping for joy!! Sure it is winter many places, but spring is upon us and I am getting ready to book a trip to Bermuda. In Bermuda, the island surrounded by beautiful water and white and blue homes, a bright color will surely pop. I have always had a thing for Nancy Gonzalez exotics, especially her crocodile. She uses colors that are so rich and perfect for every occasion. From turquoise to yellows to stunning pinks and greens, Gonzalez’ use of color is what sets her apart from many designers. The Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Box Clutch is the perfect structured bag in two of the most beautiful bright colors, fuschia and lime green. The clutch is small yet perfect, 6¾”W X 3½”H X 2″D. Most everyday phones will fit perfectly into it and a small lip stick and mirror. While I love oversized clutches, I also appreciate a small compact clutch that will really fit in my hand. There is a hidden magnetic closure which leaves all hardware hidden. All that can be seen on the outside is an exotic crocodile skin in a stunning bright color which opens to satin lining and an open pocket. And yes, the clutch is small, but the price is quite great! Dare I say the price is great enough that I am seriously considering buying both colors and calling it a day. Buy through Saks for $750.

Marni Satin Framed Clutch

Marni is a brand known for their art deco theme that is done in a very minimalist manner. This clutch is a perfect example of what Marni does best. The Marni Satin Framed Clutch implements resin square embellishments on the front with a kissing clasp closure at the top. The navy satin body pulls the embellishments together and gives the perfect touch. This clutch is small, measuring only 8″W x 7″H, yet large enough to carry the essentials for a night out. This is a great piece with an art deco feel, to make you feel as if you are walking the streets of South Beach. The clutch is shown with a great outfit option; a sleek white Alexander Wang dress and a funky Roberto Cavalli bangle. The price will also lure you in, as this bag is well under the $500 mark. LAI Python Hani Clutch and LAI Crocodile Hani Clutch

The only problem I have with this clutch is deciding which one I like more. Do I go with option A, the python clutch, or option B, the crocodile clutch? Then again, there is always the option to throw all frugality out the window and get both. Lux Couture carries the LAI line, whose acronym name means “luxury accessory international”, which is precisely what their handbags exude. The LAI Hani Clutch has my heart, in both gray metallic python and blue crocodile. I am totally stuck on the fence, wondering which way I should sway. The Hani clutch is a sleek accordion style and both versions are easy to dress down or dress up. There is a handy angled band across the front of both for you to slip your fingers through for ease of carrying. Both are hardware free, which means the exotic materials speak for themselves. Yves Saint Laurent Minaudiere Satin Clutch

Happy New Year everyone! We are finally back in the swing of things and excited to bring you the latest and greatest handbag news on the web. To start the year off right, we want to ask you what you think of this novelty clutch, is it fab or drab? YSL handbags made a hit last year with their Downtown Tote, which was spotted on the likes of Jessica Biel, Ashlee Simpson, and Salma Hayek. While many of the YSL handbags play it safe, the Yves Saint Laurent Minaudiere Satin Clutch goes out on a limb to bring a different look for a fun handbag. This box clutch is designed with refined satin and sports the YSL address print detail on the front, giving the clutch the resemblance of a letter. This past holiday season I gifted many clutches to my friends and relatives. Clutches are the perfect gift to give to just about any girl. Throw a great lipstick in and you have a bag that is ready to be taken out. For many of my friends that are still into the bar scene, I opted for a bag which would look cute and provide perfect usability. My sister received five handbags from me; one of them being the Marc by Marc Jacobs Lovely Zip Clutch which is perfect for happy hour after work. Most of us have been to a bar (I went to one of the largest universities in the country, I know bars very well by now) and have seen the sticky bar tops. I picked rose for my sister, which offers a nice pop of color, and is offset nicely with white topstitching and silver hardware. There is a logo plate detail on the front that breaks up the clutch and a touch of gathering on the leather.
