Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Clutch

It’s obvious, this Friday has suddenly become Blue Handbag Friday here at the Purse Blog. If you ever want high quality exotic skins, turn to Nancy Gonzalez who is sure not to disappoint. Color is what it is about for spring and summer, and what better way to do it than with a statement making large croc clutch. This is why I love the bold and brilliant Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Clutch with its daring turquoise Caiman Fuscus crocodile on the simple body with cutout handles. The inside has pockets and suede lining. Not a tiny clutch, but a great size for a night on the town with your heels, tight jeans, and rockin’ tee (10 3/4″H x 6″W x 3″D). Take away your blues with this blue through Bergdorf Goodman for $1750.

Frankly, I don’t understand how Nancy Gonzalez’ bags are so celebrated. They are simplistic in their designs and the prices astronomical. I don’t even know if she is an actual person. I looked for at least a website (of her company), and I could not find anything. I would like to know how she started out and how she got to get her bags at Neiman Marcus, etc. etc. Because like I said, she is not that original. Besides, someone here commented on how badly the bag was made. So, is it handmade or machine made??? I would not buy Nancy Gonzalez. There are other more deserving luxury designers from South America. Come on!!!

I have to agree with Nell on this one. Gonzalez’ bags are not all that really. Other designers are more deserving but Gonzalez has the obviously not very intelligent decision makers at the department stores behind her in this case (suckers that they are . . . ).
