Jimmy Choo Marin Zebra Clutch: Fab or Drab?

Jimmy Choo Marin Zebra Clutch: Fab or Drab?

12.26.2007 | by Megs | under: Clutches , Fab or Drab , Jimmy Choo Handbags

Jimmy Choo Marin Zebra Clutch

There is a lot going on with this clutch. Not only is there a brown and white zebra print pattern, but the material is ponyskin. And Choo has added another dimension with the gray watersnake trim that seems to have a bit of a glimmer and shine to it. The Marin clutch has been a huge hit for Jimmy Choo, but is the Jimmy Choo Marin Zebra Clutch fab or drab? This is the oversized version, which if you don’t realize it, is huge. The dimensions are 14.5″ W x 9″ H. While NAP shows this with a moo moo-esque dress (better known as a Temperley London kaftan), this clutch would look great with a very simple outfit; skinny jeans, white top, and sexy heels. Does the ponyskin/watersnake/zebra combo put this bag over the top for you in a good way or bad way? Available through Net A Porter for $1,875.

I like the zebra and all but the silver buckle and the zipper is a bit too much and its also too big, i mean so is a baguette(ah those sex and the city days) but here it just doesn’t work

It’s just horrid, like trash-luxe. If you bought it I think you would be embarrassed by it within 2 months.

my boyfriend just gave me the smaller wristlet for chirstmas, while i would never have picked it out and bought it myself, i appreciate the fact that he pays attention to the desingers and things that i like, so for that i luv it…..p.s. it’s actually not bad in the mini wristlet/clutch.

Too big. The Mave is probably a lot of fun. But, since when did clutchs become big enough to hold everything and the kitchen sink?? Jimmy Choo, I love you but come back down to reality please!?!?

Oooh, it’s just too much, and I hate to say that because I’m a big fan of JC. All of the elements are good, but put together all at once, it’s a little overboard.
