We come to expect a certain look with our clutches. Small, rectangular, hand-held. There of course are the exotic clutches, the bedazzled clutches, the boring clutches, and the amazing clutches. It is when a designer thinks outside of the box that they captivate and capture their audience.
Jil Sander is much of a no-name when it comes to Purse Blog, though she is an internationally renowned minimalist German fashion designer. Her designs are impeccably clean with an attention to lines and shapes. My only qualm is remembering she is Jil with one ‘l’ not two.
As much as I adored the Marni Geometric Clutch, I have found a true appreciation of the geometric cutout Jil Sander Polished Leather Clutch. Entirely linear, everything about this clutch is edgy, clean, and discreet. While the orange polished-leather body seems minimalistic, it is the lines that gives this clutch the perfect oomph.
No need to stick to muted browns for fall, spruce up your wardrobe with a pop of bright orange color. Buy through Net A Porter for $590.
That’s a risk that paid off. Orange is one of my favorite colours for fall. This is a nice clutch.
