Christian Louboutin Maykimay Strass Clutch

I fell in love with the Christian Louboutin Cancan Satin Clutch the moment I laid eyes on it. In fact, I am pretty sure that is the first time I was introduced to Christian Louboutin handbags. I’ve been a fan of his shoes for years now, but his handbags were starting win my approval as well. That is until I saw the Christian Louboutin Maykimay Strass Clutch. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the black diamond all-over strass clutch but I think it is just too much. Moreover, I would imagine with daily wear and tear the fabulous stones (which you will be paying a hefty price for) might start falling off. Sure, if a stone falls off you *could* continue to use it. But I imagine if you are anything like me, there is no way you could get over the fact that a stone or two are missing out of your mind. If I am going to be spending money on a Christian Louboutin handbag, I don’t think this would be the one. Yet, if it suits your style, buy through Net-a-Porter for $2,625.

The price… the look… just not worth it.

Actually this is the perfect evening clutch for a formal event. I would have bought this clutch (if it was under $1K) to match a bridesmaid dress I had to wear. I wouldn’t use it as an every day bag (as much as I love sparkly things!).

It’s beautiful, but I see your point about the stones’ falling of potential. It would drive me nuts too.

I would cry over the $2600 if any stones fell off. Its really nice but i think maybe its a celeb evening clutch, given away as freebie, used only once hence no prob with stones making a runner. For us meer mortals i think a big NO.

I had a couple on hold because initially I thought they would be a streamlined but sparkly look for evening, but when I went to collect and pay, they just felt like way too much for something that reminded me of a child’s pencil wallet with a little shoe charm on the zip so I passed on them..

    Listen girls…

This picture does absolutely nothing for this beauty! In real life it is the most exquisite piece. The shine of the crystals is blinding…Im in love with it but as you all said I don’t know if I will part with that in exchange for this. I think Louboutin is getting a little hefty for the prices of his bags…but Im a sucker, and if I like it..One way or another I have to buy it. There is some in neimans and if it does not go down in the sale, I will purchase it.

    Cross your fingers for me!
