This is an interesting one. Now, I’m not a big fan of animal prints, save for my tiny soft spot for zebra, nor do I consider myself a fan of furry bags, which inevitably bring up images of those gift bags with pink fur; yikes. But when I saw this Christian Louboutin Leopard-Print Clutch in person yesterday, it was pretty captivating.

I really wish that I liked Christian Louboutin bags. I really WANT to like them. I like the brand’s shoes quite a bit, probably more so than any other well-known brand. But more often than not, whenever I see one of their bags, my gut reaction is decidedly “meh.” And that’s exactly what I think about the Christian Louboutin Marianna Hobo.
Oh Christian Louboutin how you intrigue me, time and time again. We’ve had countless mini-debates about what we think about CL handbags. For the most part the feedback I get is that CL shoes are totally amazing while CL handbags, although sometimes amazing, are always a bit overpriced. I can’t say I disagree.
I came across the Christian Louboutin Pillow Clutch and once again found myself kinda wanting it to be mine.
I’ve come to a conclusion folks, I am constantly intrigued by Christian Louboutin handbags. It goes practically without saying, Louboutin shoes are gorgeous, chic, and often considered a must-have from any shoe lover. Well, what about the handbags? There are some out there who dismiss Louboutin handbags because they are over-priced and nowhere near as fabulous as the shoes.
Well, I beg to differ.
Shoe designers cross over and become bag designers with varying amounts of success. The recent example that most of us know best is Jimmy Choo: the long-time shoe brand added a bag line a few years ago and hasn’t looked back. They have a dedicated following and have used bags as a way to introduce a new group of women to the brand that may not have previously thought they needed $800 stilettos in their lives.
Doesn’t everyone need a bit of glitter in their lives? I think so. When Megs sent me a link to the Christian Louboutin Glittered Pump this morning, I couldn’t NOT write about it. Despite the fact that I can’t wear heels (a long-ago broken ankle, painful story), I could be easily convinced to risk personal injury for these stunning shoes. They’re a complete fantasy – like ruby slippers for a grown-up, urban Dorothy – except instead of taking you back home when you click your heels, they take you to a fabulous party with an open bar.
I don’t even really know how to begin. I am bringing you a Christian Louboutin handbag that isn’t a clutch? I think this is a first. While there are times I write about handbags for no reason other than shock or surprise; this time, being surprised is a good thing. I am so pleased with the Christian Louboutin Piercing Softy Hobo I almost don’t know where to start.
I have a minute between minutes. Literally. There is no talk that does not somehow involve the wedding right now and that is all I think of and am surrounded by. And nothing during the planning ceases to amaze me. This feeling of amazement came again with the Christian Louboutin Kyeops Python Clutch which is designed with mint python on a sleek and clean look with a large clasp fastening on the top.
If you are one of our avid readers, you know by now that I have quite a little crush on Christian Louboutin clutches. It’s simple, I’ve always felt like the clutches might seem simple, but the amount of elegance put into each is more than breathtaking. Today, I came across the Christian Louboutin Sylvia Drapey Hobo and I have to say, I don’t think I am a huge fan.
Handbags and shoes, what a wonderful combination. And I have to say, Mr. Louboutin tends to make me a happy camper when it comes to both categories. I’ve always dreamed of owning a pair of his shoes. In fact, I usually stop and admire his shoes any time I get a chance. And his clutches, I do still find myself drooling over the Christian Louboutin Cancan Satin Clutch.
