I feel like it has been eons since we have discussed a Christian Dior Handbag. Not really sure why we have not. Actually, I am. Their bags have been ugly. Yes, that is why. But a funky little 80’s number has been released and I am digging it. The Dior Nylon Cannage Drawstring Bag is available in either fuchsia or purple stitched nylon. The drawstring style is laid back for day to day use. I would not be using this every single day, but why not throw in a little color, especially since neon and bright colors are back in style. For those of you that thought I was totally ragging on all neons after the Fendi Wallet incident, you will now see that I am not completely opposed to neon done right. The silver tone hardware is the perfect touch on the ring detailing. Inside there is a cell phone pocket, slide pocket, and zip pocket. Dimensions are 11″H x 11 4/5″W x 4 7/10″D. I do like this style bag, but only in leather, and not in those colors. Yuck!

I’m sorry but I HATE Nylon bags. They hold oil too easily and they always get stained. Those styles are cute, not crazy about the colors.
I like them though, even though I am thinking of leather and softer color like cream.

I love that you’re referring to it as the “Fendi Wallet incident”. I did love the colours of the Fendi wallets on their own, and I thought you may have been to quick to judge since they’re Fendi, and due to your feelings that someone at Fendi seems to have been given the wrong meds lately (which I agree with by the way). I just want to say though, that I didn’t like that the Fendi wallets in question were lined with the monogram canvas… that killed it for me. I loved colours that pop, but hate linings that make them poop.
As for these bags, I love me some Dior! I don’t like drawstring bags like this though. They remind me of the “tiny knapsack” trend from the nineties that still gives me nightmares to this day.

I fell in love with this cute bag the moment I saw it on Neiman’s website last month. I have already preordered mine in purple! This bag may not be for everyone, but I have always loved bold colors and I’m glad they are back.
