As far as “IT” bags go, the Chloe Edith made it on the list last season. While the season may be over, the bag is still hot, in my opinion. The Chloe Edith Leather Bag is available in a perfect for fall a gorgeous gray-green color. The Edith can easily be worn during the day and dressed up at night. On the bag there is a front pouch pocket, oversized black stitching, silver buckle fastenings, and doubles handles. For fall, my color of choice is a olive green shade, and this bag marks the spot. Some of you have heard that I have a new job in NYC. HOORAY!!!!! I have to learn to stop telling myself that with everything new comes a new bag, but I can’t help it. I am still in love with my Chloe Paddington. The bag is just gorgeous in my opinion. So while looking for a ‘work’ tote, I have found my way to a beautiful Chloe bag. The Chloe Large Leather Tote shows off typical Paddington features with brass chunky hardware and a padlock along with stud embellishment. The black supple leather is easy to match with any outfit and the bottom compartment of this bag is funky chic. This compartment has a silver zip fastening and C buckle fastening to store your precious goodies. For me, I have no idea what that would be, but it is really a nice separation compartment nonetheless. I have had my heart set on Chloe since the Paddington and I venture to say that I have my heart set on this tote that I definitely *need* for work. The people at Chloe need to realize that their bags have all made their way into my heart. My heart goes pitter-patter and my wallet becomes a bit lighter. The Chloe Medium Gladys Tote presents itself as a subdued beauty with bright colors and zipped compartments for usability. While pictures do not usually portray the texture of the bag, this picture shows the bags’ supple olive leather. I can imagine the leather to feel divine by the looks of it. The color of the leather is called olive, but upon first glance this bag looked more like gold and silver leather. Either way, the style is what gets me- the color I can work with. The tote is accented with silver metal hardware and there is an ID tag on the side. There is something about lots of compartments that is appealing to me, even though I typically don’t use them. This bag has four front zip compartments for you to play around with. Overall, the tote measures 10 1/2″H x 15″W x 5 3/4″D. Some of the most compliments I have received are from my most simplistic looks. The days when I throw my hair up, toss on a simple tee-shirt, and throw on a pair of sassy jeans is when people tell me that I look amazing. I never understood that, but my mom always told me to ‘go with it’. I think I have found the perfect and most chic ‘go with it’ bag. The Chloe Large Betty Satchel manifests itself in simplicity and beauty. I can’t put my finger on why I love this Chloe handbag so much, but I just love how it looks so great without much effort. The hardware is silver metal which compliments the leather beautifully (available in gray or ivory). While the bag has shoulder straps with rings and a zip top, those are not the features that have drawn me in. Rather the four front zip pockets and the zip top coin purse have me sold on this bag. I am not always a fan of pockets, but this bag seems to intertwine the use of pockets and beauty perfectly for my liking. Roomy enough for all of you goods, the satchel measures 16″H x 17″W x 6″D. The people like ‘us’, the selective group of fellow handbag lovers, would say mmm a Birkin! But would you ever change your mind and say ‘mmmm, a Croc Paddy!’ Chloe is hoping there will be a very elite market to draw in when selling the Chloe Paddington Croc Satchel. Delicately and intricately designed from luscious chocolate crocodile, this satchel shows off golden hardware and the signature padlock closure and tassel with key. The least Chloe can do is offer metal feet to protect the base of the bag. I am under the assumption that the inside is still only lined in cloth, which makes me wonder if the crocodile used to make this bag was a limited edition extinct species. Finishing off the trio of hobos is the new Chloe Medium Silverado Leather Hobo. Let me introduce you to the hobo behind door number 3. This beauty is taken from the other Chloe handbags trademark, the Silverado. Reminding us again that shine is in, this hobo is derived from metallic gold pebble-grain leather with chunky whipstiched trim. Showing other Silverado traits, this hobo has the signature side snap-flap pockets which many of us have come to know and love. This Chloe hobo bag shows off antiqued golden hardware and studs, closes with a zip top with an extended snap tab, and finishes off with snap tabs at the base of the bag. Today there will be hobos galore for you to choose from. These hobos look similar to one another, but I wonder which hobo you would chose. For starters, behind door number 1, we have the Chloe Paddington Hobo. While I am a big fan of the Paddy, I am not sure if I love the hobo more or less or even find it to look that much different. You will find the signature Paddington style to ruminate through out many features of the bag, including the padlock, hanging key tag, and golden hardware and studs. Both dark forest green and red pebble-grain leather are choices for you. The shoulder strap with rings has a longer drop than the regular Paddington and the bag also features a zip top. Yes, we all know the Silverado. Today I am not mentioning this beauty as if you don’t know about it, but to tell you that the Gold is actually quite a bold and beautiful color and it fits in perfectly with my metallic need of the day. Those of you who are yearning for a trendy metallic bag don’t even think of not considering the Chloe Metallic Gold Silverado Satchel. As dull as it may be, I am going to list the features of this bag (because for many of us it will be old news). Is anyone done with hearing about Chloe? My guess would be that some people are, but I sure am not. I can’t fall out of love with my Paddy- it is my baby. I wear that bag and my arm feels so privileged! Vlad even loves it; heck my dad even loves it! So if you like the Paddy but want a little bit of a different style Chloe keeps on inventing for you. Most of us are quite accustomed to two main styles over at Chloe. But little Miss Thang is all about having us get to know her other designs a bit better. Let me introduce you to the beautiful Chloe Ascot Tote. This vivacious green tote bag is made from dark green pebble-grain leather and adds a little more color with teal trim. The big green is taking off the handbag world and shines in the sun with its golden hardware and studs. The focal point of this tote are the top and bottom tabs connected with the shackle clasp which adds a new dimension to the tote. I’m a fan of green and a big fan of teal, but I’m a little on the line with the combination of these two colors in this bag. Either way, I find the bag different and alluring.
