Here’s Jessica Alba, arriving at JFK in NYC to catch a flight to destinations unknown. (Our money is on LA.) Jessica is carrying a chic, animal print Nina Ricci Marché Tote, which pops nicely against her all-neutral travel ensemble. You can find this design in black calf leather with suede panels for $1,950 at Net-A-Porter.
Celebrity Style and Fashion(Page 3)
Paris Fashion Week is the grandaddy of them all, and the street style certainly reflected that. Like Milan Fashion Week before it, brands invited fewer celebrities, so editors, bloggers and street style stars got more of a chance to shine. We slogged through a million (only a slight exaggeration) photos of the proceedings to find the best bags on the most stylish stars, and you can check them all out below.
Here’s internationally renowned human rights lawyer (and accidental style maven) Amal Alamuddin, hand in hand with new husband George Clooney (some guy who’s acted in/produced/directed a few movies) in Venice, heading to their civil ceremony. Amal is carrying a tasteful Stella McCartney Beckett Envelope Clutch that perfectly matches her chic wedding pants suit (not something I thought I’d ever hear myself say).
Amber Rose is no stranger to paparazzi cameras, but she’s receiving a little extra unwanted attention this week after announcing her rather sudden divorce from Wiz Khalifa. Here she is ducking out the back entrance of Bossa Nova in LA after dinner with some friends, carrying a gorgeous, polished leather Tom Ford Charlotte Zip Pocket Tote, complete with Tom’s trademark yellow gold hardware.
Here’s actress/rock star progeny Lily Collins, arriving at LAX with one of her minders, carrying a muted grey Prada Saffiano Cuir Tote that matches her highly inconspicuous giant grey wool hat and grey suede coat. This particular model is new for Fall 2014, and it appears it’s currently only available for purchase from Prada’s website.
This year, London Fashion Week got compressed down to nearly nothing and we found ourselves looking down the barrel of the Milan Fashion Week collections before we even knew what hit us. Ultimately, though, that’s okay–MFW brought out tons of fashion industry insiders, basically all of whom were carrying pretty bags at which to gawk.
