I’m unsure of the exact math, but when you have two appearances by Beyoncé in any given blog post, your A-lister cred somehow more than doubles. Today, the handbag picks are especially high-end. There’s plenty of luxe celeb bags from Dior, Hermès and Céline to feast your eyes on this week, as well as some truly eyebrow-raising looks from a few of your favorite celebs.
Celebrity Style and Fashion(Page 3)
Celebrities continue to school us in the art of dressing like a celebrity for all occasions. If you’d like to know what to wear if you’re boarding a yacht in Italy before 6 pm, or if you’re grabbing lunch with your boyfriend, who used to be in a prominent boy band and may or may not be more famous than you at this point in your career (it’s debatable), then please, read on!
Almost, but not quite. It was a busy weekend for celebs, what with Wimbledon, extremely high-profile weddings and a mass celeb exodus from Paris Couture Week. All that celeb news, combined with numerous celeb cheating/divorce rumors that we’re too classy to mention here will indubitably make for some premium tabloid reading tomorrow.
There may not be much for bag lovers to anticipate inside Paris Haute Couture Week (even brands known for their bags generally don’t include them in couture collections), the bag-spotting outside is still excellent. This celeb bag roundup also features a very visceral, summery mix of colors and textures: off-whites, light greys, linens and stitched leathers.
It’s July, and celebs are sporting some premium peak summer looks. It’s just teased hair, short shorts, mini-dresses and mesh for days. Summer celebs are probably my favorite celebs. Their bag selections are both brightly colored or neutral. There’s no particular theme or prominent trend in this round-up, but we do have a nice fringed Saint Laurent, a lovely, prismatic patterned Roger Vivier, and another appearance by Coach‘s hot new style, the Swagger.
It’s almost as if the powers that be at Louis Vuitton sent out a secret, celebrities-only missive instructing all their celeb field operatives to bust out their newest, nicest Louis Vuitton bags if they wanted to remain in the brand’s favor.
I know two things for sure about Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron: she loves neutral handbags and hates the paparazzi. Both of those are defensible positions, in my mind, and they’re both clearly on display when you thumb through Charlize’s public handbag history, as documented by the dreaded paps.
