Honestly, I do not understand the hype surrounding Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. Disney channel, sold out concerts, semi nude-like photos, whatever. But there are millions of girls (and boys and moms and dads) worldwide that adore Miley Cyrus (or her alter ego, not sure who is more loved). Miley was spotted carrying The Sak Silverlake Satchel in dark amber two days in a row. This satchel can also be worn as a hobo, similar to the Botkier Sasha. There are many reasons that I really love The Sak bags. First of all they are highly affordable. But even with the lower price point, the bags are still designed well and look quite nice. Miley was sporting the bag in dark amber, but it is also available in black, cream, black patent, and white patent. Best part is they are only $200 via The Sak.

I really am not interested in what is happening at the Christie Brinkley divorce and custody trial. As much as I feel for her, the trial has become a huge media following and this is something the court needs to handle. What I am interested in is what bag she carried to her trial? It is not a shocker, but Christie Brinkley arrived at court looking refined and beautiful, wearing an outfit that does not distract but looks clean and polished. There definitely is a right and a wrong way to dress for court; keeping in mind what the judge will think and the media. And Brinkley plays this game well, pairing a cardigan over a knee-length dress and accessorizing with a tan handbag. The handbag looks familiar, but I can not put my finger on it.

Courtney Cox is not followed around by the paparazzi as much as her best friend from Friends is, Jennifer Aniston, but I bet she likes it that way. But at least when she is followed Courtney Cox pairs her casual jeans and tee shirt outfit with a bold red handbag. Courtney Cox was snapped while carrying the stunning Bid Handbags Lady in ruby red snakeskin. This exotic snakeskin bag is a perfect throw on your shoulder bag. The design is ultimately simple, but something about it being so simple is what lures people in. From the moment I saw the designs from Bird Handbags, especially the Lady, I was intrigued. I have the bag in Ostrich and absolutely love it! The body of the bag lacks structure completely, but that makes it light weight and easy to throw on (and easy to pack as an extra bag). Mary J Blige with her Lambertson Truex Sienna Clutch

While the fashion world was celebrating the NYC screening of Sex and the City the movie two nights ago, I was crossing my fingers and hoping Comcast had turned our cable on when we got back from Orlando. Guess what, today they did and life makes sense again! And while my level of happiness is immense from our internet finally being back on after over a week without, I will admit that I would have loved to make it to the pink carpet in NYC for the Sex & the City Premiere. The four women of SATC captured the attention (more to come of them later), but I was delighted to see my clutch of the moment, the Lambertson Truex Sienna, on Mary J Blige. This clutch is my go-to now, in the most stunning shade of yellow. It is like this creamy buttery rich vanilla hue that I am obsessing over. Mary J Blige opted for the silver snakeskin and Nappa leather combination, which I covered before. Not only do I love this bag, but I absolutely adore and admire the men behind the design. Vlad and I recently had the pleasure of sitting down to meet with Richard and John. Their designs are impeccably stunning and the men are top-notch. Hilary Duff with her Prada Fairy Bag

I am now a regular contributor to the SeenOn! Blog, which focuses on what is being worn by some of the most talked about stars today. I first did a piece for them on Lipstick Jungle, and now will be contributing once a week for them.

It has been a little while since I have even seen or heard about Hilary Duff. As the young star lays below the radar, she is working on shedding her Disney image and moving into her own shell. We have seen this young gal carry bags from Rebecca Minkoff to Chanel handbags and now she is sporting one of the most talked about bags of the season, the Prada Fairy Bag. Hilary was spotted wearing her Prada Fairies Bag with a funky outfit, including cowboy boots, short short shorts, and a striped cardigan. I find it perfectly fitting that Hilary is carrying a bag that some find to have more of a young appeal compared to the older celebs that have sported the bag thus far. Sure, her ensemble is a bit of a mess, but she is young and in LA, which means she is somewhat pulling it off!

Givenchy Nightingale

Ok, I know, I know, my celebrity postings have been excessive lately. But all of my favorite ladies (some not so favorite) are carrying around the hottest handbags! It is hard to pass it up. Now this bag I think you will all enjoy, even if it is not in this color combination. The Givenchy Nightingale has been a fan favorite of stars like Ashley Olsen and a favorite of handbag lovers world wide for its sleek and clean appeal. There is something utterly perfect about this bag. What is even more perfect, is the beautiful Heidi Klum carrying it. Even more perfect you ask? Heidi Klum carrying it while being a great mom to her three children, Leni, Henry and Johan. And even more perfect than that… her body. I had to take it that step farther because when I saw her strut down the Victoria Secret runway merely 6 weeks after giving birth I got green with envy. And now I am green with envy over her green Givenchy Nightingale! This handbag is filling all the right categories. It is the perfect punch of color that spring is calling for, it is the perfect everyday bag, and it has that casual chic feel. This version sports a slightly wrinkled patent leather with a zip top closure, double top handles, and a removable shoulder strap. The inside is lined in fabric and has a side pocket and two organizational pockets. Dimensions are 13″ x 14″ x 6″. 5″. I loved this bag before, and now I have a slight case of obsession with it. If I had not just bought the Rebecca Minkoff Wine Nikki (ordered!!), Louis Vuitton Clutch (waiting for me!), and Louis Vuitton Watercolor Speedy (waiting for it to arrive), then I would most definitely go for it. But I have to show some restraint. Anyhow, my trip to NYC next week may have me leaving with a few other handbags, you never know Buy through Barneys for $1395.

Cartier is and always will be a household name. But they are a household name for jewelry, not so much handbags. As Cartier broke into the handbag world this past year the response was great! The favorite bag of many is the Marcello de Cartier Bag which is available in three sizes and a variety of colors and materials.
