We know Jillian Michaels isn’t a stranger to weightlifting, so it’s no surprise that she’s handling her giant Louis Vuitton Mon Monogram Keepall like it’s a clutch. The Mon Monogram is a customized version of the aptly named Louis Vuitton Keepall – each bag is personalized with your initials and up to two colored stripes of your choosing. Jillian opted for orange with fuchsia lining.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from covering the evenings bags that stars carried at the Golden Globes, Grammys and SAG Awards this season, it’s that relatively few celebs are willing to take a chance with an interesting clutch for a stroll down the red carpet. Perhaps their stylists just don’t think about it amidst all the dress drama, or maybe they’re afraid that anything that distracts from the dress is a unwanted opportunity to pull focus away from getting the star onto the Best Dressed List.
Miley Cyrus has been a busy little bee as of late, buzzing from press gig to Cosmopolitan cover party to New York Fashion Week show. Here she is in NYC rocking a bowler hat, a LOT of beaded fringe and a Versace Signature Tote. Those bold, gold Medusa studs pair perfectly with Miley’s whole “80s hipster grandma” get-up. Miley is seen carrying the bag top handle-style here, sans the detachable strap.
Here’s Khloe Kardashian and her BFF Malika Haqq looking super enthralled at the LA Clippers game. Khloe’s got a lovely python-front-flap Celine Trapeze Bag sitting in her lap, and as you browse through the additional photos after the jump, you’ll notice that both Malika and some unseen person sitting behind Khloe are carrying Celine Luggage Totes. Ladies and gents, we may have reached Celine critical mass in LA.
Here’s Kirstie Alley in New York City, matching her cobalt blue trench to her extra chic Celine Luggage Tote. We find this particular tote truly interesting because the front panel is bright blue snakeskin instead of regular leather. The combo of blue snakeskin, black leather, and white gussets make this an especially gorgeous version of the Luggage Tote. Celine Luggage Totes, like all Celine bags, are only available at high end department stores and Celine boutiques.
With her documentary Beyonce: Life is But a Dream debuting on HBO this Saturday and her barnstorming Super Bowl halftime performance still fresh in the minds of almost everyone, today seemed like a fitting occasion to pay bag tribute to the one and only Beyonce. With the entourage that rolls with her and Jay-Z, though, I’m surprised that Queen Bey still deigns to carry her own bag from time to time.
It’s been a while since we’ve spotted a celeb with a bag from The Row, and honestly, that last celeb was co-The Row owner Ashley Olsen. HOWEVER, we’d just like to reiterate that these bags are absolutely chic, beautifully made, and not as ridiculously priced as they may seem, despite their high price points. (That’s not sarcasm.) Here’s a harried Reese Witherspoon, buzzing through Beverly Hills with her The Row Day Luxe Tote.
The subject of celebrities at New York Fashion Week is a little bit odd. Most of them are paid to be there by a designer whose show they’re attending or a brand or product that they represent, which means that many of them are wearing and carrying clothes from that designer in what can be a fairly transparent marketing scheme. The whole point of a fashion show is marketing the new collection, though, so I can’t gripe too much.
I think the undeniable stamp of being a truly successful teen is having Teen Vogue throw you a “Sweet 16″ birthday party. Here’s one of my faves, Chloe Moretz, carrying a cute little cream Chanel Mini Classic Flap Bag on her way to her Teen Vogue-hosted birthday shindig at Aeropostale in Times Square last week. Does anything scream 16 (in the best way possible) more than layering a leather moto jacket over a dress with tiny silk roses on it?
Here’s a well-bundled, blizzard-proof Kyra Sedgwick, carrying a classic Balenciaga City Bag on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This bag is available in a whopping 9 different colors for $1,545 at Neiman Marcus. Just a reminder to the general populous, while we’re at it – as we reported two months ago, Balenciaga’s rose gold hardware bags are being phased out, so snatch those up while you still can!
