I gave a bland and blah review to See by Chloe Bags a month ago. On the particular See by Chloe Bags I reviewed, you all mostly agreed. The bags lacked any design innovation; they merely looked like colored leather stitched into a sac. So should I take back what I said now? And her latest handbag that has made it onto our obsession list is the Chloe Paraty Bag in black python. This bag is not available in stores yet, but of course it has been seen with Katie all over town. And why wouldn’t we obsess over it? It is casual, exotic, and perfect urban chic style. That has my name written all over it. And while this bag may be available in leather versions, it is this exact python version that I am lusting for. Of course I will have to go see it in stores once it arrives, but my hope is that this Chloe bag does not disappoint. Salvatore Ferragamo Apollonia Bag

Salvatore Ferragamo is a brand known for its ready-to-wear and picturesque shoes (that are divinely comfortable might I add). The shoes are statement pieces that stand on their own immaculately. But the handbags from Salvatore Ferragamo are not as well known as the shoes, but they should be. While I have not loved every Ferragamo bag, I have found an ultimate drool-worthy bag from the company, one so lovely that it is officially on my want/need list. The Salvatore Ferragamo Apollonia Bag radiates this sort of subtle perfection, this simplistic look that just has me infatuated. This bag stands out and has a different look to its exotic body, seeing as it is made with black and white hardwick, which is a type of huge reticulated python that weighs in at over 200 lbs. The skin does look different, very uniform, very patterned. But for me, it flows wonderfully. And who was caught wearing this bag? None other than refined simplicity herself, Reese Witherspoon. The picture of Reese carrying this bag only sealed the deal for me, putting it on a person and showing me how beautiful it is! One of the perks of being an A-list entertainer is that you can get the high end fashion brands to make cool, custom gear for you. Kanye recently unveiled this custom, oversized Louis Vuitton Damier Azure Backpack on his blog. The backpack features LV’s signature Damier Canvas print with light brown leather trim and supposedly, it took a year and a half to make. It won’t be making the boutiques, still there is chatter that this piece set Kanye back by $15,000. Some say it was $6,300, no idea.

I don’t care for Kanye, his cocky attitudes, nor his music, but getting Vuitton to make a custom piece to suit your needs (better: wants) is quite cool.

Reese Witherspoon has become known for her casual chic style, always looking comfortable, logo-free, and cute as a button (isn’t she found in the dictionary next to cute as a button? And now Reese has been spotted carrying another logo-free designer bag, the Anya Hindmarch Pimlico Bag. While I can not find this bag for sale online, it is truly a stunner! The shape is similar to that of a LV Speedy or Gucci Boston, easy to carry and the structured shape gives an elegant appeal.
