Everybody knows Mulberry is forever.
So basically your point is that Oprah is too fat to carry a Mulberry bag? Cool.
I love this bag and wanted one until I tried it on in person. It’s rather heavy, but gorgeous nonetheless.
Oh, Emily. You still have so much to learn. Whose demographic do YOU represent? And when did the Purse Blog decide that vaguely ageist, racist commentary was an OK thing for its writers to offer up? Where are the editors? Very disappointed.
chill out girl. not everything is offensive.
Her editor is right here, and if you look at the people who Mulberry goes out of its way to get their bags to, Oprah doesn’t fit the customer that the brand clearly has in mind. I wouldn’t necessarily fit the demographic either. Neither would Barbara Walters. Mulberry has carved out a very narrow slice of celebrity fandom for itself, and calling out those corporate decisions that the company has clearly made isn’t a commentary on whether we necessarily endorse those decisions.
Your demographic comments are odd. Go to London, sit down on the tube, look around. All shapes and sizes of women carry Mulberry. I do not think it odd that Oprah, me or even my next door neighbour carry this brand.
