The jacket is definitely from UO. I have one, it retail at $99. You can see a picture of her with it on in the current People Style watch.

I think it is the MTV editing that makes her seem that way. I thought the same thing but actually met the girls from WiNK in NYC and they are friends of hers and say she is really sweet! MTV is just “creating a character” I’m sure!
