A handbag that I am not crazy for, but a sleek and fresh design, the Valentino Histoire Bag has been spotted on celeb after celeb (and their mini-daughters). And now Jessica Simpson has been spotted toting her dog, Daisy, and her black Valentino Histoire Patent Bag. While I am not a fan of taking my dog out to eat with me, I must admit Jessica looks ditzy-cute enough, sporting her slick patent leather bag with its infamous braided leather trim. The shoulder straps are also braided and the inside features cotton canvas lining. If this bag were to appeal more to me, I would opt for it in the gold version. That packs a punch. Bag available in gold or brown at Saks for $1795.

A little too much going on here. I do think that the two pocket design is better than the three pocket. Even then, I still don’t understand the allure of this bag.
It’s something you have to see in person, because I first saw this bag only in pictures and it didn’t do much for me either. I spotted the 3 pocket black patent bag at it just stopped me dead it my tracks. It’s just stunning. I fell in love with it and brought it home with me.
So where on earth can you find the larger one in this picture? BG, SAks, NM all carry the one with the 2 pockets in the front. I’d love to find the one pocket style….

Is Jessica really a ditz? I seem to read that a lot but it seems that she has a little more going for her than what people give her credit for. Anyway, I didn’t see Jessica toting this bag around much after this photo was taken. It must be nice to be able to change expensive bags like they are socks.
