Hilary Duff Prada Fairy Bag

Hilary Duff Prada Fairy Bag

Hilary Duff with her Prada Fairy Bag

I am now a regular contributor to the SeenOn! Blog, which focuses on what is being worn by some of the most talked about stars today. I first did a piece for them on Lipstick Jungle, and now will be contributing once a week for them.

It has been a little while since I have even seen or heard about Hilary Duff. As the young star lays below the radar, she is working on shedding her Disney image and moving into her own shell. We have seen this young gal carry bags from Rebecca Minkoff to Chanel handbags and now she is sporting one of the most talked about bags of the season, the Prada Fairy Bag. Hilary was spotted wearing her Prada Fairies Bag with a funky outfit, including cowboy boots, short short shorts, and a striped cardigan. I find it perfectly fitting that Hilary is carrying a bag that some find to have more of a young appeal compared to the older celebs that have sported the bag thus far. Sure, her ensemble is a bit of a mess, but she is young and in LA, which means she is somewhat pulling it off!

As someone who lives in Los Angeles, I gotta say this is exactly how ladies here dress. I am so tired of that bag though. After I found out it bled, the Prada fantasy seemed to vaporize. It wreaked of being mass-made, which I know most bags are and I know that Prada, even Hermes, are profit-making corporations, but I really wanted to love this bag for a long time. Instead, I think it’s going to pass into time as a strange chapter in the Prada canon.

She looks cute with that bag. The perfect bag for someone her age!

Ok, a question. Whose bag is fake? In the Prada ad with the two models, the key fob & its strap have the ink print, and no gold “Prada” triangular logo on the top of the bag near the fairie’s head.

Methinks HD or her stylist found a fakey fakey.

Ok, a question. Whose bag is fake? In the Prada ad with the two models, the key fob & its strap are plain white (sorry for my incorrect previous post of them having the ink print), and no gold “Prada” triangular logo on the top of the bag near the fairie’s head.

Methinks HD or her stylist found a fakey fakey.

Megs you must do a post on Samantha Who? Every week we get to see designer bags and shoes, unlike Sex and the City lot of these bags are very mainstream and bag lovers can actually get a hold of them. I think this week I saw a Marc bag and few weeks ago there was a Ferragamo tote.
