It’s safe to say a lot of celebs started the week still a tad hungover from Golden Globes after parties, but in the days leading up to the Globes, everyone was clean-cut, (comparatively) sober and busy making the long journey to LA. (Or for LA-based celebs, the long journey to the make-up chair.) As you might expect, the ballooning parade of celebs trekking through LAX at the end of last week produced some great handbags picks for our twice-weekly celeb bag round-up.
Allison Williams
Ralph Lauren Ricky Bag
$2,500 via Neiman Marcus
Here’s Girls star Allison Williams arriving at LAX before the Golden Globes, carrying a gorgeous red, $2,500 Ralph Lauren Ricky Bag, which, for a brief moment, I mistook for this $22,500 Ralph Lauren Ricky Bag.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Hermès Birkin
Catherine Zeta-Jones has an extremely on-point airport look. We saw her in a very similar get-up back in December. She’s wearing the exact same coat, glasses and hat, actually, but she’s carrying an entirely different Hermès Birkin.
Chrissy Teigen
Céline Phantom Luggage Tote
Here’s Chrissy Teigen, arriving in LAX with her Céline Phantom Luggage Tote and her adorable bulldog Puddy in tow. Let’s all think of Chrissy fondly for her extreme love of bulldogs, and try to forget her much-memed Golden Globes cry face.
Jane Keltner deValle
Chanel Classic Flap Bag
Glamour’s Fashion News Director Jane Keltner deValle carried a chic, black Chanel Flap Bag to a fashion show that she attended in Paris somewhat recently. (We think this might be an older photo, but it just popped up on our photo service today.)
Kim Kardashian
Hermès Himalayan Crocodile Birkin
Here’s Kim Kardashian, just hanging out at the airport with her exorbitantly priced, ridiculously exotic Hermès Himalayan Crocodile Birkin, which she has owned and loved for some time. It’s worth noting that Kim did not have to remove her Balmain boots to go through airport security. Stars are not like us AT ALL.
Kris Jenner
Hermès Crocodile Birkin
Fendi Karlito Bag Bug
Incidentally, here’s Kris Jenner leaving a medical facility in LA with her own croc Birkin, accented with a Fendi Bag Bug. By the by, if anyone’s been wondering if you can find bag bug-“inspired” accessories on Etsy yet, I looked; the answer is YES.
Pamela Anderson
Goyard Saigon Bag
Pamela Anderson recently dined at Mr. Chow with husband Rick Solomon and a most unusual bag choice from Goyard. If you look closely, you’ll see it does feature Goyard’s trademark chevron print. Other variations of this bag are more colorful (and more blatantly Goyard).
Paula Abdul
Prada Saffiano Gardener’s Tote
$1,930 via Bergdorf Goodman
What on earth is Paula Abdul up to these days? Or at any given point in time, really? Here she is at the arrivals gate of LAX with a basic black Prada tote. Totes like this one are a Prada classic, so Paula’s made a safe choice.
