The Fabulous Handbags of Wimbledon’s Celebrity Spectators

Even though it’s the second oldest tennis tournament in the world, Wimbledon can easily be proclaimed the most prestigious. Simple collared polos are not enough; the attendees dress head-to-toe in the very best while they watch the best in the world play on the court in their tennis whites. After seeing Anna Wintour tote a $33,000 Louis Vuitton bag, we thought it important to round up the best bags carried to Wimbledon.

From Victoria Beckham to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge to Wimbledon women’s winner Serena Williams, these leading ladies carried some of the best bags we saw at the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton caused quite a stir as they attended the Wimbledon finals. Seated in the Royal Box, the Duchess wore Wimbledon whites in a suit by Joseph and carried a Diane von Furstenberg Lytton Snakeskin Clutch. Her sister was more casual and fun in her printed peplum Project D dress. Shop Diane von Furstenberg via ShopBop.

Victoria and David Beckham were dressed to the nines and of course looked like the posh couple we all know they are. Victoria wore one of her own Victoria Beckham designs from her fall 2012 collection and paired it with a Victoria Beckham Alligator Bag (drool). Shop Victoria Beckham via Net-A-Porter.

As handbag connoisseurs, we were quite shocked to see Anna Wintour toting a bag. Of course it wasn’t just any bag, it was a $33,000 Louis Vuitton bag. With it she paired a bright orange Marc Jacobs trench coat and Manolo Blahnik kitten heels.

Kim Sears is the long-term girlfriend of tennis superstar Andy Murray. While he didn’t win overall, Murray made it to the finals and Kim was there to cheer him on. She wore a Roland Mouret Angel dress and carried a properly British Mulberry Bayswater Bag. Shop Mulberry via Net-A-Porter.

Serena Williams once again proved that she is the top tennis star in the world by winning her 5th Wimbledon championship. For the Champions Dinner, Serena wore a yellow Burberry dress and paired it with Christian Louboutin pumps and a black and gold Burberry Box Clutch. Shop Burberry via Net-A-Porter.

Lastly, Rachel McAdams also made her way to Wimbledon. This isn’t her best look, as she looks a bit more disheveled than usual, but she donned a white V-neck dress and tan Jimmy Choo bag for the occasion. Shop Jimmy Choo via Net-A-Porter.
