Check Out All the Fab Shoes from Beyoncé’s ‘Soul Train’-Themed Birthday Party

Beyoncé turned 35 on September 4th, and she threw herself an epic Soul-Train-inspired, celeb-filled fete in NYC to celebrate. Everyone was there, including Blue Ivy, Kelly and Michelle, and the outfits were amazing. Celebs fully committed to their very groovy apparel. Of course, when planning a vintage-inspired outfit, finding the shoes tends to be the easy part, and celebs had no problems in that department. Here are all the glorious arrivals and exits from Bey’s party.

Here’s Queen Bey herself, making her grand entrance in a pair of mirrored leather Giuseppe Zanotti Lavinia Platform Sandals. I can’t tell if these have a gold tint or they’re just reflecting Beyoncé’s golden aura.

Cassie
Gucci Platform Pumps
$1,200 via Gucci

Here’s actress/dancer/model/new P. Diddy squeeze Cassie, entering the party in a pair of vertiginous Gucci Platform Pumps. They look extremely on point for Bey’s party, and yet you wouldn’t want to bust a move too quickly in those.

Janelle Monae

You knew Janelle Monae would deliver. Janelle wore this amazing optical print set and crushed velvet knee-high boots with white heels. These are reminiscent of several styles designers have put out in recent seasons, but we can’t ID them with 100% confidence. Can you?

Jourdan Dunn

Jourdan Dunn opted for simple, minimal red stilettos. A good choice, though we can’t actually see them well enough under her bell bottom jumpsuit pant legs to make a proper ID.

Kelly Rowland also went the jumpsuit route, and looks stunning in these shimmering brown hues. Her shoes are the exotic leather Alaïa Python Platform Sandals.

La La Anthony
Saint Laurent Candy Platform Sandals
$1,095 via Saks

La La Anthony paired subtly studded Saint Laurent Candy Platform Sandals with her highly reflective two-piece outfit. Pity the paparazzi that tread any closer to her than this.

Michelle Williams
Stuart Weitzman Hijinx Sandals
$485 via Nordstrom

Michelle Williams wore glittery silver Stuart Weitzman Hijinx Sandals with her own silver sequined and striped two piece ensemble. These bad boys actually retail for less than $500.

Solange Knowles

Finally, here’s Bey’s sister Solange, wearing a gorgeous pair of multi-colored Paula Cademartori sandals. Special props to the reader who pointed out that Solange’s bag is a Carla Lopez design in our last celeb handbag round-up!
