When I first saw them in the dept stores, I really loved them. But after doing some reasearch, I found out that Botkier also makes a line for Target. The line is under the same Botkier name. I now find it hard to spend top dollar on a handbag when similar signature styles are availble in vinyl at Target store. I just feel like it devalues the brand. That's just my 2 cents! In your review of the "gunmetal" Gemma you mention that you're "... not so sure about the color of the bag." You should take a look at the Belen Echandia pewter leather. The pewter color actually takes on an undertone color of whatever it's next too. I never thought I would get this "bright" of a metallic color on a bag. ("Bright" does not correctly describe the color, it is NOT like an aluminum color. It is very subdued but has great bling!) The BE bag I have in this color is a large bag and I absolutely do not feel that it's "too much" or "overdone".
