When I wrote about pastel spring bags last week, you guys were pretty much in agreement–the colors are just so nice to look at, so clean and feminine. An expensive, ultra-light purchase isn’t the best avenue for everyone, though, especially if you tend to be hard on your bags or wear a lot of black. Both of those things describe me, so instead of a bag, I derive great pleasure from a pastel manicure.
I’m not the first person you’d expect to be a devotee of ultra-girly nail polishes, but I am. I’ve owned hundreds of nail polishes in my life, but other than basic black, it’s the creamy pastel greens, blues, greys and purples that I always reach for. They provide a clean finish to a mani or pedi that stands out for its very lightness, instead of shimmers or glitters that are more obviously trying to grab attention.
Below, check out a bunch of pretty, pale polishes that I can’t wait to have on my fingers and toes this spring.
