Friday, Friday, Friday! It doesn’t have quite the ring of the “Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!” monster truck show commercials of my youth, but it does mean that the weekend is nigh, and that’s what I’m focusing on. Another big perk of the weekend? We spent yesterday trolling the Internet for the most lust-worthy bag sales that we could find, and we’ve compiled our findings into a nifty little list of what we think you guys should be splurging on this weekend.

Starting today, yoox.com is having their semi-annual sample sale featuring over 75,000 women’s, men’s and kid’s styles marked down up to 90%. This is pretty epic, considering some already steep markdowns we find regularly on the site.
Somehow yoox.com always manages to have end-of-season clothing and accessories from super prestigious fashion houses on serious discount, so this sale is sure to be a stand-out shopping experience.
A few months back, I looked through my ShopBop account and realized I’ve been ordering for ShopBop for so long that I can track my various style phases through each purchase dating back to 2008. Beyond some fairly embarrassing forays into trends that shall go unmentioned, I noticed how many amazing purchases were made on substantial markdown. ShopBop sales make up a large percent of my wardrobe.
Ladies, may I introduce you to your newest source for premiere designer discounts, Belle & Clive. The site is Bluefly’s entré to the world of flash sales, but the major difference from other sites is that the years-long relationships between Bluefly’s buyers and amazing brands result in choice picks from premiere designers. Every. Single. Day.
We thought we’d introduce the site, which is still actually in Beta, by showcasing today’s offering – a rare vintage Hermes HAC Birkin made of Ardenne leather (!!).
I wait and wait and wait each year for Bloomingdales Friends and Family sale to roll around. Almost all full price and sale merchandise is 20% off, resulting in great steals for brand new arrivals and even better breaks on the sale racks. Well friends, it’s here. Shop Bloomingdale’s and use code FANDF at checkout. Don’t know where to start? Fret not, that’s where we come in: we’ve scoured the sale and we’re bringing our picks to you after the jump.
It’s no secret that I love expensive things, but what I love even MORE is expensive stuff on discount. One of the dangers of working at a fashion site is acute awareness of all the amazing discounts our favorite shops are offering. A few of my most-shopped stores have promo codes happening this week, and I’ve included some great random finds I’ve come across.
You guys, Fashion Week is done. DONE! We still have some coverage coming up about the last few shows that we went to, but no longer shall I put on my fancy shoes to go elbow loitering “personal style bloggers” (unemployed interns) out of the way at Lincoln Center. Or at least not until February, anyway. What will I do instead?
Y’all, it’s Fashion Week. Have we mentioned that yet? We might have. It might have come up! A lot of you guys probably don’t care, though, and even the ones who do probably still want something to secretly read at work on a Friday morning, right? That’s why, after a big burger and an even bigger nap last night, I fell (almost literally) out of bed to scour the Internet for the Best Bag Deals of the Week in the wee hours and bring them to you.
In person, Fashion’s Night Out can be a bit intimidating, especially in New York City – streets are filled with eager shoppers looking to soak up the atmosphere and check out lots of special events and celebrity appearances. If you don’t dig crowds and don’t care about celebrities, there’s a better alternative launching at 6 p.m. for your shopping pleasure – Fashion’s Night Out with RueLaLa and Bella Bag.
It’s Friday, and Friday is exciting for two reasons: Not only do you (probably) not have to go to work tomorrow, and we spent yesterday afternoon scouring the Internet to bring you the Best Bag Deals of the Week, just like we do every week. Because the pickins were a bit slim at the places I usually look for sale bags, I decided to take the plunge into the discount-designer web warehouse that is Yoox.
