It’s the most wonderful time of the year! For their part in the Black Friday madness, our friends at Saks are taking up to 60% off a huge selection of clothes, bags, accessories, and the selection of shoes is particularly strong. Shop quickly – the sale lasts through the end of the day, Friday, November 29!

Love them or hate them, UGG Australia’s cozy shearling boots, slippers, gloves and accessories make welcome gifts (both for others and for yourself) when temperatures turn cold. Guess what: it’s cold. Now through Monday, December 2, you can beat the freeze with 30% off any purchase at UGG’s official site! All you have to do is enter code U1DAYTHRUCYBERMONDAY at checkout!
When you work in fashion on the Internet, people ask you a lot of questions about your job; this time of year, the most popular one is, “When does the Net-a-Porter Sale start?” Sometimes we don’t know, and usually even if we do, we’re sworn to secrecy until the whole thing blows up. This year, we’ve got a little scoop to share: Net-a-Porter’s twice-yearly sale will launch on Black Friday, November 29, just in time for you to skip the crazy lines at the mall, curl up with your morning coffee and shop the fashion Internet’s most anticipated sale of the season.
We’re generally against season-creep, but when that season is sale season, bring it on. Our friends at ShopBop have decided to let you get your Black Friday deal-shopping started a little early; from now until December 2, you can save up to 25% off any ShopBop purchase. All you have to do is enter code BIGEVENT13 at checkout, and depending on the size of your purchase, a discount of between 15% and 25% off your loot will be applied!
Bag deals are so much fun this time of year. While we all anticipate the arrival of Black Friday and its attendant shopping bonanza, department stores and brands alike have started quietly putting things on sale in anticipation of the festivities, so there are great deals to be had but with far less competition than you’ll get with post-Thanksgiving markdowns. That means that today’s Bag Deals roundup is a bit lengthier than normal – we just couldn’t winnow the pool down to our usual number.
It seems like sale season gets a little bigger and a little earlier every year, and that’s something you’ll never see anyone on the PurseBlog team complaining about. In addition to our weekly roundup of bag deals, we’ve got several more fun things to remind you of. First, the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale is still going on an a bunch of new bags were added recently.
I can barely believe that Friday is with us yet again. That’s probably because the combination of spending half of the week in a different city and this past week’s change in the clocks has made me completely disoriented and slightly out of sync with the space-time continuum, but maybe some of you guys are right there with me. For both those who suffer with me and those who are somehow a bit further along in evolution and have no idea what I’m talking about, I’d like to present you with this week’s bag deals.
One of my favorite things about the Internet is how it’s managed to spread out the traditional “sale season” into a months-long discount extravaganza. Here to kick off the holidays correctly (in early November, but we’re not complaining) is the 2013 Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale, in which you’ll find discounts of up to 40% on current-season merchandise for women and kids.
Wow, I can’t believe I just wrote “Weekend of November 1st.” Does anyone know where October went, because I sure don’t. Another end to a hectic week and the only way I see fit to reward ourselves is with another dose of bag deals. The spectrum of choices this week is so wide that something is bound to tickle your fancy.
We’re in the thick of fall now (I know that’s true because I finally wore a sweater to work yesterday), and most of you can probably feel the second big sale season of the year coming down the pipe. It’s not quite here yet, but in the meantime, we’ve got both some bag deals and some overall sales that are worth shopping.
