A few months ago Vlad and I found ourselves viewing the Michael Kors showroom. We have tons of pictures, that we really need to show you all. It was like a little slice of heaven. The showroom was a maze of room after room of runway clothing, handbags, shoes, and resort wear. It was like a never-ending joy ride.

One of the handbags that stuck out in my mind was Michael Kors Python Hinge Clutch, which immediately caught my attention as its metallic exotic python skin gleamed and the finished product was a perfect statement piece. The clutch is a foldover style with two side hinges that help open and close. I saw this bag in white, but the gold really stands out and will be able to add a nice touch to your outfit. This is one of those clutches that I imagined myself wearing from the moment I saw it, pairing it with dark jeans, a black top, and heels. The gold will give my outfit the perfect pop, the perfect stand-out accessory. At the time, I was considering it, but now it is hard to skip out on it. Juicy Couture Gossip Hobo

I’ll go ahead and say this now: I’m not great fan of Juicy Couture. I don’t like wearing sweats out of the house, making their signature track suits well nigh useless in my wardrobe, and I’m definitely not a fan of the (mercifully dying) trend of wearing messages across one’s bum, a communication tool that their creators pioneered.

It seems, though, that with changing tastes and changing markets, Juicy Couture has started to get their grown-up act together a bit. I noticed some absolutely covetable coats in last year’s fall/winter collection, and I think their line of jewelry charms is darling. I admit all this begrudgingly: their heretofore unimpressive line of sweatpants and message tees makes me really want to continue to snark about them, but I’m now willing to admit that I may have to reevaluate my opinions.

D’Angel Handbags

D’Angel handbags do not need much of an introduction here, especially when it comes to the D’Angel Tia Tote. Yes, we will feature more of their designs in the future, but last time I told you about the Tia Tote the response was so overwhelming that Lux Couture sold out in a day. I’m not going to lie, I could look at ShopBop all day. They have endless amounts of absolutely gorgeous…stuff. They have both super-recognizable (Marc by Marc Jacobs) and indie (Vena Cava) designers, and items that are both wardrobe staples and extremely special pieces. And honey, when they have a sale, they HAVE A SALE.

As many on the forum have noted, they’ve recently taken lots of new markdowns, and for someone that doesn’t spend such copious amounts of time on their site as I do, wading through the enormous number of offerings must be kind of overwhelming. Tarah Smith Yuppie Bag

I have a bad habit of trolling shopping websites when I’m bored, irritated, or in need of a distraction. As I sit here watching my beloved Georgia Bulldogs absolutely choke in the second game of the College Baseball World Series, my mind can’t help itself but wander to happier subjects (happier subjects being the acquisition of handbags, natch). I’ve already mentioned my crush on the unattainable (until the pre-orders come in!) Rebecca Minkoff Nikki, so tonight, I had to find something else to strike my fancy and drown my sorrows.

A quick perusal of Revolveclothing.com, one of my usual haunts, gave me what I needed to momentarily forget about my ailing alma mater: the Tarah Smith Yuppie bag. I’m a sucker for patent leather, and this simple satchel delivers in both black and grey (I remain incredulous about the yellow and seafoam).
