Marc by Marc Jacobs Posh Super K Tote

Marc by Marc Jacobs Posh Super K Tote Many times, you get what you pay for. If you pay for a knock-off, that is what you get. If you pay $8k for a Hermes Birkin, you get meticulous craftsmanship. Many times prices are inflated, but for the most part you get what you pay for. While not top notch, the marc by Marc Jacobs line provides affordable bags that many times look great too. A perfect throw-around everyday look, the Marc by Marc Jacobs Posh Super K Tote is designed with cushy soft navy leather and brass accenting hardware. Similar to that of many old doctor style bags (reminiscent of the Dior doctor bag) there is a zipped base to store things. While the description is for it to store your valuables, I would think that over. The only easy way of opening the base is when sitting down or when the bag is on a table, and in this go-go-go lifestyle, you are likely to try it while standing up which means your valuables will be all over the ground. Yet this handbag is cute, offering a fun turnlock closure with flap top and striped canvas lining. Dimensions are a great size to take this around daily; 16″W X 12″H X 5½”D. And the price makes this handbag a bag deal, just under $500 at Saks.

Well first off I’m a purse collector and have an extensive number of handbags in my closet but I cant ever seeing myself paying more than a few hundred dollars for even the most unique purse but as I see here there are purses out there that that exceed thousands of dollars. I think the most I’ve ever spent on a handbag was about 700 dollars when I bought my best friend a bridal purse for her wedding. This purse was well worth the price though since I knew it would come in handy on her wedding day and it was a one time thing so the price was justified. How many of you out there spend thousands on a purse like the one above?

This is aiight to me as well. M by MJ has better bags (although fall is questionable with that block bag and the dr. Q patchwork).

Marc by Marc Jacobs bags are a waste of money. You pay half the price of a nice bag and get a poorly designed bag that you’re bound to regret buying. It’s quite rare that Marc bags even come in such simple, basic colors as brown and black.

Nice. But the first thing I thought of when I saw this bag was the Jimmy Choo Mahala.

I have this bag and I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE it. It is the perfect size. A really nice handbag that isn’t too over the top. The price is right!

 I bought this bag about two weeks ago and I love it!!!! I purchased the bag in navy (which looks fab with jeans) but was very impressed with the selection of other colours. I love the softness of the leather and really like the fact it still feels very light even when full. I think it has far more character than i’ve seen on any other Marc Jacob bag for a very long time.
