And does it matter which version of the site I’m on when I check for the bags? I noticed that the selection is different between the US and international sites.

Those Missoni bags have been on that website since well before summer of 2010. I personally stopped going to that website, as I really couldn’t find anything of interest. I do way better on ruelala and gilt.
