It’s truly been a joy to watch my friend Rebecca Minkoff grow over the years. From starting a line with only a few bag designs (like the famed Morning After) to expanding into a well-known brand whose wares include bags, clothing, shoes and jewelry, Rebecca Minkoff has changed before our eyes.

We’re just about half way through New York Fashion Week, and though it was hot and humid the ladies and gents who were popping out to attend the shows brought out their best bags. Yesterday many of the big names showed including Prabal Gurung, Tibi, Alexander Wang and Hervé Léger by Max Azria.
New York Fashion Week provides the season’s best bag-spotting opportunity, and we’ll be outside the tents every day to capture the most interesting handbags and accessories of the shows’ attendees. Below, check out our favorites from day 2.
Yesterday marked the first day of New York Fashion Week Spring 2015, and that means it was also our first day of street-style bag-spotting outside of Lincoln Center. We love our glossies as much as any fashion people, and one of the industry’s major magazines is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. InStyle Magazine launched in 1994 with Barbra Streisand on its cover, and since its inception, the magazine has grown its global reach to over 21 million subscribers.
On Saturday, famed French champagne house Veuve Clicquot hosted the 7th annual Veueve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park, overlooking the Manhattan skyline. The Classic has become synonymous with impeccable style, and Vlad and I were fortunate to attend the event and scope out the best bags and style of the attendees.
