Now, isn’t this just super cute? I am confident many of you out there are familiar with the big necklace hit in the 80′s: best friends necklaces. You better *know* that I had one. It wasn’t anything expensive, but I totally gave part to my friend Sara and I wore the other half. I was, like, super cool. I am pretty sure it didn’t take long for the chain to break, but luckily that wasn’t a sign of Sara and I growing apart, in fact, we are friends still today – years and many moves later.
For the longest time I associated Chloé with shoulder bags. It took me a while to realize that Chloé also really knows how to make exquisite clutches. Maybe that was a bit close-minded of me. But hey, I’ve realized the error of my way and I now expect all sorts of fabulous bags from Chloé, not just what I was originally accustom to.
When it comes to Judith Leiber, all handbag lovers know what to expect: exquisite, luxurious and head-turning pieces. While this is what I certainly expect, there is a good chance Judith outdid herself this time. I came across this bag a little while ago and have spent more than a bit of time drooling over it.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t usually associate Cole Haan and evening bags. Ok, I don’t mean evening bags in the sense of a fancy schmantzy clutch, but more like I don’t even think about grabbing a Cole Haan bag for a night out on the town. For the most part, I think of Cole Haan for go-to bags.
What’s a girl have to do in order to thank Marc Jacobs in person for his brilliance? Well, I assume I need to be famous or figure out how to rub elbows with the elite fashion crew out there. While I try to figure out how to make that all happen, I’ll just have to settle for staring at some beyond fabulous handbag creations Mr.
Holy glam alert batman! This little number has Studio 54 written all over it. Granted, I wasn’t around during the Sudio 54 days but I’ve seen enough to know that this bag is perfect for a night where you are looking to glam it up.
We’ve already recently mentioned several times the bucket bag trend and here is one more to drive the point home.
Some handbags out there that bring an instant smile to my face. There isn’t necessarily a common theme in the bags that bring me such happiness, but that’s quite alright. Perhaps it has to do with my mood or perhaps it just has to do with the bag itself. I am not really bothered by why I can’t seem to figure out what makes me smile about some bags more than others; in fact, it is rather refreshing.
This could potentially be love at first sight. The Sara Berman Decca Midi Studded Shoulder Bag was welcomed with open arms by little ol’ me. The bag is classified a shoulder bag but also possesses so many hobo-like qualities, which of course, I love. But, it’s not just the shape, nor is it the color, in fact, it’s not any one thing that has me loving the bag.
Today is a good day. Not only did Bluefly just add more inventory to their store, but they also added some really GREAT inventory.
We have several Rebecca Minkoff lovers that frequent our sites. And hey, who can blame them, Rebecca Minkoff designs are HOT! One of her more recognizable designs is the Nikki Hobo. We’ve seen several iterations of this design.
Anytime I travel I find myself staring at handbags and travel bags throughout the airport and on the plane. And each time I arrive at my final destination I think back and wonder why there aren’t better travel/carry on bags out there. For the most part, everything seems basic and boring. I have to say, I am a culprit as well.
