Is anyone else out there ready for Summer to be here in full swing? While those of you who live in colder climates have to be dreaming of the warm Summer months more so than those of us who already live in a warm climate, either way, there is something fantastic about Summer. I love planning weekend trips, BBQs and days at the beach. And of course, you can’t just take any old bag to places like the beach, you need something in particular, something perfect for this kind of occasion. Amanda covered some of her favorite summer beach bags a few days back over on PurseBlog, yet today, I have another one that I’d definitely carry. (more…)
It is not uncommon that those of us on Team PurseBlog tend to envoke some sort of curiosity or interest in what we cover. In fact, it was just last week that Amanda wrote about how she doesn’t cover or look at as many Coach bags as perhaps many of you would like. As soon as I read that I began nodding my head in total agreement.
Coach is such a staple in the handbag world that I almost cannot believe we don’t cover more Coach bags. Perhaps that will be a mid-year resolution of mine. I’ll start my resolution out with the Coach Madison Floral Embroidered Maggie Bag. Can you say quintessential feminine handbag? (more…)

As I mentioned earlier this week, we’ve partnered with Zara Terez to bring an entire week of great giveaways. That’s right, each day there is a new handbag up for grabs. Originally this giveaway was just for NYC residents since it involved a scavenger hunt around the city. However, Zara and her team reached out to us and will be giving away those same bags to a different PurseBlog follower each day. Sounds pretty awesome huh? Well better yet, all you have to do is follow ZaraTerez and PurseBlog on Twitter and each day post a comment as to why you’d like to win the bag of the day.
In order to peak interest, Zara or someone for her team will be stopping by this post and offering up the same scavenger hunt hints they are promoting in NYC here. Even if you aren’t in NYC it will be a fun way to feel involved. Stay tuned since there are only 2 more days to go!
This is the kind of bag that I yearn to touch. If you are in the market for a large handbag, this one might be the one for you. As soon as I came across the Sorial Electric Blue Ruched Leather Large Tote I instantly thought of myself toting it around on a daily basis. I don’t know about you, but a bright bag like this tends to do nothing but help bolster my mood. I can see myself pairing this bag with a great pair of jeans and a casual shirt. (more…)
This past weekend was wonderful. I was so lucky to have two of my college roommates in town for a visit. There is something about getting together with old friends that just always warms my heart. One of the great things we did was take some long walks up and down the boardwalk. And of course while I was walking, I of course was checking out all of the beach totes. Some were good and others, well, not so much. So, come today I was on the hunt for a great canvas bag that would be perfect for the beach and beyond. Leave it to Longchamp to fulfill my search. (more…)
Mondays are always a bit sluggish. It doesn’t matter if you had a raging weekend or simply hung around, I don’t know many people who really look forward to Mondays. However, today is a bit different. We’re partnering with handbag designer Zara Terez to bring you an entire week of giveaways! (more…)
Now, this is a gorgeous bag. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this Tory Burch creation were the countless quotes I learned back in high school. They weren’t just any quotes, but quotes about how important and crucial simplicity in life is. And you know what, it is true. While those quotes weren’t intended for handbags and the design of them, I still appreciate how simplistic this bag is; it is just so clean. (more…)
Wait a tick. THIS is a L.A.M.B. handbag? No way. I mean, is there anyone out there reading this who would have guessed L.A.M.B. as soon as you saw it? Ok, looking a bit more closely, there are design elements that I can see are very L.A.M.B.-esque, but still overall, there is no way I would have guessed it right off the bat. (more…)
I’ve been carrying my same purple Kooba bag for the past few weeks now. While usually I try and switch it up from time to time, I’ve been fixated on this color purple and haven’t been able to let it go. So, when this happens, I catch myself gravitating more and more towards other purple bags just like this Elliot Lucca Angeline Tote. The bag doesn’t scream “notice me” nor does it go without notice. (more…)
So, tell me something, do you own as many wallets as you do handbags? Well, perhaps you won’t own just as many, but are you someone who switches up your wallets just as much as you switch up your handbags? Sadly, I am not. I tend to have one or two wallets that I work with and rotate in and out of my favorite bags. However, I do find myself coming across more and more wallets that make me want to change my previous practice. (more…)
There are some bags out there which words cannot seem to do it enough justice. This clutch falls into that category. Coming across this Jimmy Choo Tube Elaphe Snake Clutch has me trying to reach through my computer and grab it. The color, the shape, the execution is all just complete and utter perfection. To be honest, the only thing I am having a problem with is figuring out which outfit I would pair this with first. (more…)
