I feel like there is a good chance the handbag Gods are reaching out to me in a very strong way today. You see, today, every single bag that has caught my eye thus far is a crossbody bag. Granted the sizes of these bags are all different, but crossbody bags they are.

As I’ve said multiple times during this seasons crossbody craze, I don’t have one.

Honestly, I find myself forgetting about some handbag lines from time to time. DKNY is one of them. I guess I think of the “big brands” more often. But, I do promise I’ll try to do better. And if DKNY continues to churn out bags like this one, I would most likely be inclined to remember a bit easier.

Sure, there really isn’t anything *that* special going on with the DKNY Chain Double Flap Crossbody Bag, however, there is something about it that I really like.

It is absolutely no secret that I am a huge Linea Pelle fan. I love their bags, belts and accessories. The great thing about this brand is that nothing is bogged down with too much hardware, frills, or random designs – just because. This brand sticks to what it is good at and that is one of the main reasons it is so successful.

For the most part, I’ve always considered Bottega Veneta to be a classic, iconic brand. The intrecciato weaving technique is one that can be spotted from across the room or even across a busy street. Personally, it is the classic element of the brand that I love and have come to always expect.

Now, just because there are certain things I expect from a brand like Bottega Veneta does not mean that I cannot appreciate when they think and design a little bit out of the box.

You know, I am not really sure what to say here… and that rarely happens. So, let me see what I can conjure up given the fact that my mind is suffering from various states of confusion.

As I was catching up on some news (as well as daily celeb gossip), I came across a tidbit of information that I *HAD* to share with you all.

So, there is a good chance you know that we do our best *not* to replicate handbag coverage here. There are so many handbags out there that we become busy trying to cover a wide variety of our favorites (and sometimes not so favorites), meaning we don’t really find a need to revisit a given design. However, every now and again there is a bag that has already been reviewed by myself or another member of the PurseBlog team that deserves a revisit.

Yes, you all know the love I have for clutches. Frankly, I cannot have enough clutches in my collection. They all just seem to serve such an amazing purpose. While I love my clutches, with the warm Spring and Summer months upon us, I began to wonder: do most people put away their dark colored clutches and opt for brightly colored ones – OR – are the darker clutches used all year long, no matter what?

You may have noticed that I was a little MIA (missing in action) last week. I spent most of the week driving from the West Coast to the East Coast. For those of you who have never experience a cross-country drive, it was a long one. My brother flew out to California and did the drive with me, which made it much more exciting.

Is anyone else out there ready for Summer to be here in full swing? While those of you who live in colder climates have to be dreaming of the warm Summer months more so than those of us who already live in a warm climate, either way, there is something fantastic about Summer. I love planning weekend trips, BBQs and days at the beach.

It is not uncommon that those of us on Team PurseBlog tend to envoke some sort of curiosity or interest in what we cover. In fact, it was just last week that Amanda wrote about how she doesn’t cover or look at as many Coach bags as perhaps many of you would like. As soon as I read that I began nodding my head in total agreement.
