Alright, before anyone begins to chastise me, I am calling myself out. I realize that I cannot make up my mind. So for those of you who missed out, yesterday I wrote about a ROMYGOLD bag that absolutely disgusted me. I mean, it almost made me physically ill when I came across it. Then, just a little while ago as I perused Shopbop, I came across a smaller version of the bag, a much, much smaller version and, well, I really like it.
There are times when I think I’ve missed my calling as a stylist. Ya, ok, maybe not. But, I have to say, as much time as I spend looking at and loving handbags, I spend almost as much time imagining which friend or celeb would be best suited for a particular bag.
But today, when I came across this beyond fabulous Jimmy Choo clutch I thought of so many different people who would look beyond fabulous with this clutch in their hand.
I am sure I sound like a bit of a broken record when I start talking about Linea Pelle handbags. So, I am going to go ahead and get everything that I always say out of the way first. I absolutely love the leather Linea Pelle chooses for all of their handbags. It’s the kind of leather that gets better with each use.
I’m speaking for all of us here at PurseBlog when I say that we are all thrilled that new Alexander Wang handbags are available. While new handbags seem to pop up all the time at some of our favorite retail stores, there are some days where I feel like I’ve already seen everything. I guess that’s what I get for basically scouring the internet for the best (and sometimes worst) handbags available.
Being the kind of girl who loves an edgy handbag as much as the next person, I was a bit disappointed to come across this one. While I am not the designer nor was I a part of the design team, I do feel like those behind this bag were aiming for a rocker/edgy look. I can see where they were coming from but unfortunately they missed the mark.
When Cleobella handbags come up, I brace myself for something very hippie-esque. So, today, I was a bit surprised when I came across a recent Cleobella design.
To be honest, at first glance, I thought this bag had some kind of metallic element going on. Upon further investigation, I realized that while there is some kind of weaving going on, there is absolutely no metallic involved.
Sweet mother of the work force! I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. I absolutely must get my hands on this Miu Miu bag. Ok, I am getting ahead of myself, so excuse me while I calm down for a quick second.
There, I’m better now.
Before I was a blogger, I was a part of the corporate world (well sort of).
See people, this is what I am talking about when I express how I feel that so many shoulder straps are unnecessary. The shoulder strap on the Olivia Harris Lambskin Round Sack Tote is not only unnecessary, it is also absolutely FUGLY. I know for a fact that I would have a much different opinion if say, the strap was the same color as the bag itself.
It has been a little while since we’ve all been in the midst of a fringe debate. If you remember, not too long ago, it seemed as if every other bag was adorned with some kind of fringe. I for one never really got sick of bags with fringe, but I can see how so many of you handbag lovers out there did.
You know, I wish this wasn’t the case, but, I don’t really see anything all that wonderful about the Marc by Marc Jacobs Q 49 Catherine Lambskin Satchel. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way?
Yeah, this is a nice enough handbag, but I don’t see anything over the top about it. In fact, I’m kind of bored with this bag.
