No matter your location, when you think of spring, you probably think of color. And for those of you (like us) who happen to live in a part of the world in the midst of a gray, cold winter, I think it’s fair to say we look forward to Spring just a bit more than the average person.
Earlier this week we introduced you to Glossi, a website where anyone can put together their own online magazines. One of the great things about Glossi is that there is so much flexibility. If you had a chance to flip through the Fall 2012 Textures Glossi we shared on Monday, you probably noticed that we were able to share the same information that you would get from a regular magazine, but with the added bonus of having the products just a click away.
We love having the opportunity to work with other amazing sites around the interwebs and do it as often as we can. This time, we’re working with an awesome new site called Glossi.com, which mixes personal publishing with social media. I remember first hearing how this site would work and thought it might be too good to be true.
You might remember reading a few weeks ago about an awesome jewelry event that we were planning with the Rebecca Minkoff team. While it was unfortunate that we had to postpone due to Hurricane Sandy, we have some exciting news: We’ve rescheduled the event!
Today is one of those really nasty and gross days. You know the kind; they suck out any motivation you might have had to be productive. These kind of days are the ones that encourage staying in, watching a movie (preferably a great RomCom, obviously) and ordering in dinner.
I have to say, when it comes to handbags, the PurseBlog team tends to influence one another pretty frequently. Well, it’s happened again. A few days ago, Amanda covered Kelly Osbourne carrying a neon Chanel Flap over on BagThatStyle. It goes without saying that Chanel bags are classic, but there was something about the neon version of this bag that I really liked.
You know, there’s something thrilling about coming across bags that fall into the pre-order category. Now don’t get me wrong, anything that is pre-order can also make my eye twitch while simultaneously making me want to pull out my hair. Regardless of the emotional roller coaster, I always spend time looking at pre-order items.
Last week, I wrote about these really cool Must Have Boxes that our friends at PopSugar put together every month. It’s such a cool concept! Each month you know you will be getting a great box filled with all sorts of amazing items, but you don’t know what they are.
By now, I am sure some of you out there are familiar with the lifestyle site Joyus. It’s a fun, interactive, video-based site that lets viewers see items they may want to buy in motion. You know those times where you see an item online, even on a model, but aren’t exactly sure what it would look like on a moving, breathing human being like yourself?
