Alright, before anyone begins to chastise me, I am calling myself out. I realize that I cannot make up my mind. So for those of you who missed out, yesterday I wrote about a ROMYGOLD bag that absolutely disgusted me. I mean, it almost made me physically ill when I came across it. Then, just a little while ago as I perused Shopbop, I came across a smaller version of the bag, a much, much smaller version and, well, I really like it.

There are times when I think I’ve missed my calling as a stylist. Ya, ok, maybe not. But, I have to say, as much time as I spend looking at and loving handbags, I spend almost as much time imagining which friend or celeb would be best suited for a particular bag.

But today, when I came across this beyond fabulous Jimmy Choo clutch I thought of so many different people who would look beyond fabulous with this clutch in their hand. In fact, I can see some of my friends who tend to go for an edgy look carry this as often as my friends who are a bit more feminine. I love when a bag can do that!

I am sure I sound like a bit of a broken record when I start talking about Linea Pelle handbags. So, I am going to go ahead and get everything that I always say out of the way first. I absolutely love the leather Linea Pelle chooses for all of their handbags. It’s the kind of leather that gets better with each use. How could a handbag lover not appreciate that? And the next thing is, while Linea Pelle bags aren’t typically over-the-top kind of bags, each bag really demonstrates how it doesn’t need all sorts of bells and whistles to be a knock-out.

I’m speaking for all of us here at PurseBlog when I say that we are all thrilled that new Alexander Wang handbags are available. While new handbags seem to pop up all the time at some of our favorite retail stores, there are some days where I feel like I’ve already seen everything. I guess that’s what I get for basically scouring the internet for the best (and sometimes worst) handbags available. So, needless to say, I welcome these new Alexander Wang bags with open arms.

Being the kind of girl who loves an edgy handbag as much as the next person, I was a bit disappointed to come across this one. While I am not the designer nor was I a part of the design team, I do feel like those behind this bag were aiming for a rocker/edgy look. I can see where they were coming from but unfortunately they missed the mark.

It looks like someone’s small child took a pair of scissors and went to town.

When Cleobella handbags come up, I brace myself for something very hippie-esque. So, today, I was a bit surprised when I came across a recent Cleobella design.

To be honest, at first glance, I thought this bag had some kind of metallic element going on. Upon further investigation, I realized that while there is some kind of weaving going on, there is absolutely no metallic involved. Perhaps I glanced at the bag too quickly or perhaps I have metallic on the brain, so I am not exactly sure why I thought I saw metallic. Either way, there is something about this bag that screams out, “carry me”.

Let's be best friends.
