Last weekend, more than 100,000 people headed to Indio, California to attend the highly anticipated Coachella Arts and Music Festival, and 100,000 more will do so this weekend. With over 150 music acts on the bill, including Outkast, Arcade Fire, Pharell, Lorde, Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey, Haim, Muse and Calvin Harris, we found no shortage of famous faces to be seen in attendance.
It was a melting pot of designer bags in this week’s edition of #PBWIMB. In your Instagrams, we found pllenty of luxurious textures from croc to Epi leather, plus fun prints like leopard and Goyard’s painted signature. Take a peek at what we found in some of our favorite bags of the week and make sure to keep tagging your pictures with #PBWIMB for your chance to be featured!
If you follow our Instagram (which you totally should), then you’ve probably noticed we really like our sweets. (Emphasis on REALLY.) It should come as no surprise we’re suckers for just about any sweet we spot on our Instagram feeds, too. From French macarons to fro-yo, there’s no sweet we won’t eat. Take a look at some of the yummiest treats we spotted on our feed this week, but beware, they may cause cravings.
While we love seeing the usual favorites like Hermes and Chanel, we especially love it when you all decide to show off some of your other favorite designers. In this week’s roundup of #PBWIMB, we got to peek inside a variety of bags, including Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Tory Burch. Below, take a peek inside some of this week’s best bags.
After being stuck in layers of black clothing and endless snow, we’ve found ourselves in a constant state of daydreaming. We’ve been wishing for sunny palm trees, bold handbags and endless outdoor brunches. While we continue to wait to make those dreams happen, we can love yours in the meantime, even if it’s just via Instagram! Check out our favorite shots of the week below.
By the looks of this week’s #PBWIMB roundup, it seems plenty of you are already enjoying the sunshine and toting around your brightly colored bags, while others are still bearing the cold weather and hiding under layers of cashmere and wool. While we all love a good black bag, it was refreshing to finally see some color again! Between the yellow Goyard and the red Saint Laurent alone, we’re definitely looking forward to seeing what other colors you’ll all be breaking out this spring.
After a long and amazing week at South by Southwest, it feels good to finally be back in New York (minus the cold weather, of course). Last Thursday, Amanda and I jetted off Austin to spend a week at SXSW Interactive, attending thought-provoking panels and keynotes, eating tons of delicious food, exploring the city with great bags and making new friends.
For the second installment of PurseBlog Eats, we ventured down to the Lower East Side of Manhattan to pay a visit to The Fat Radish. Upon arrival, the restaurant provides an immediate sense of warmth and coziness – it’s the kind of soft-lit candle glow that feels completely effortless and genuine. The walls are decorated with hooks for customers’ coats and perfectly aligned filtered photographs.
March has finally arrived, and while it may not be snowing anymore, it certainly doesn’t feel like spring to us. As the cold weather continues in New York, our bags remain filled with plenty of chapstick, moisturizer and scarves galore. That’s why in this week’s #PBWIMB we asked you to dig deep into the bottoms of your bags and show us what you were carrying inside.
If there’s one thing we’ll never get sick of seeing on Instagram, it’s great handbags. (Okay, food and puppies are on that list too.) While it’s no secret that we’re huge lovers of all things Hermès in the PurseBlog offices, we’re most definitely not alone. We combed through layers of hashtags and pictures to find some serious drool-worthy Hermès bags and bracelets on Instagram that will most likely keep you salivating for hours to come.
