Finally, it’s the last Friday in February, and hopefully March will be milder for those of you still in the clutches of winter. In the meantime, we send warm and cozy thoughts to everyone and welcome you to another edition of the PurseForum Roundup!

In Case You Missed It: The Five Posts PurseBlog Readers Loved the Most in February 2015
We feel incredibly lucky to have so many readers that drop by the site regularly to chat with us about handbags, but we realize that not everyone can spend as much time PurseBlogging as we do. It’s like PB, in digest format.
Anya Hindmarch Again Looks to Everyday Design for Her Fall 2015 Bags
Anya Hindmarch is a brand that’s been around as long as I’ve been into handbags, but in the past two seasons, the British designer has rocketed to wider interest than she’s ever received before. That’s largely because of the decision to incorporate a few consumer product logos into some bags two seasons ago; earlier this … Read more

UK Celebs Carry Their Best Bags to London Fashion Week, US Celebs Mostly Just Hang Out at LAX, Per Usual
London Fashion Week is upon us, and this week it happened to overlap with the Oscars, which meant that LFW was an A-list actor-free zone during the first few days. London’s best “it” girls, pop singers, and modeling legends still turned out in force, of course. As you might suspect, this bag round-up is particularly model and UK designer heavy, though the models are actually quite equitably distributed between London and LA.
Monogram Makeover: Louis Vuitton Monogram Infrarouge
Monogram bags may wax and wane with customers, but they’ll always be a huge part of many brands’ sales. Monograms easily identify brands to onlookers, and many customers first find their way to love designers by recognizing the monogram; it’s an easy association. I was one of these people: my first Coach bag was monogram, and my first Louis Vuitton was as well.
Over the past few years, there’s a major push away from classic monograms and logos, but many brands are putting a focus back on their signatures. Louis Vuitton continuously remakes its classic LV monogram with seasonal interpretations that lures so many in.
The Ultimate Bag Guide: The Chanel Classic Flap Bag
When we released our last Ultimate Bag Guide, many of you asked us to give the same treatment to the iconic Chanel Classic Flap Bag, and we thought it was an excellent suggestion. This month marks the revolutionary shoulder bag’s 60th anniversary, and somehow, it’s even more popular now than it was in 1955. Whether … Read more
I Really Love Kylie Jenner’s Givenchy Antigona
I know, I know–so many of you don’t want to hear anything else about the Kardashians. But I’m not here to gossip about them, I’m here to share a bag I spotted on Kylie Jenner’s Instagram page that I fell in love with, and I just now found it available for sale online.
Inside the New Fendi Madison Store + 3Baguette Project for Charity
Last week, when New York City was experiencing one of its coldest days ever, the Fendi Madison store was heating up. The store had its grand opening with a star-studded event, but earlier in the day, Vlad and I had the ultimate pleasure to see the store prior to the official opening. In a total “pinch me” moment, it was Fendi CEO Pietro Beccari who greeted us downstairs and walked us into the beautiful boutique, chatting about the cold weather and the new store.
Want It Wednesday: Novelty Bags are the New Normal
The current handbag market has two dominant extremes: minimalist day bags and maximalist novelty clutches and mini bags. Today, we’ve decided to explore the latter end in this week’s edition of Want It Wednesday, and it’s more familiar territory for some of us than others. Below, check out the novelty bags that we’d like to add to our collections. (Also, please give a warm welcome to Taylor, the newest member of the PurseBlog team!)
Dee Ocleppo Makes a Statement for Fall 2015
You might not have heard of Dee Ocleppo handbags yet, but expect that to change. Dee Ocleppo launched her handbag line in 2012, and this year, Dee is already making an impact on the accessory market. We featured Dee last year when we looked in her handbag, and this past fashion week we joined Dee, … Read more
