Here’s the gorgeous Gwen Stefani, hanging out with her adorable family in London and carrying a Viktor & Rolf Bombette Bag. The Bombette has turned into a bit of a celeb favorite this summer – Miranda Kerr, Carey Mulligan, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are all fans.

We made it! It’s hump day! Try not to get that GEICO camel’s hump day chant stuck in your head, but now that I’ve said it, that’s totally what’s going to happen, isn’t it? Sorry. All I can offer by the way of an apology is a list of things that those of us around the PurseBlog offices are lusting after this week.
It’s taken me longer than many to come around to the idea of camouflage as a viable accessories trend. Like I mentioned when we took a closer look at 3.1 Phillip Lim’s camo bags (which I, admittedly, kind of liked), it’s a print that I’ve prided myself on hating for years on end, and I didn’t see that changing anytime soon.
While I’m fully aware that Rebecca Minkoff makes a full line of handbags that ranges from clutches to weekenders, when I think of the brand, I think of crossbody bags. Perhaps its because my single RM bag is a MAC, or maybe it’s because Minkoff’s crossbodies are ubiquitous among the 20-something denizens of New York City, or maybe it’s just because Minkoff herself understands better than many contemporary designers that these are the types of bags that young women really want to buy.
Here’s RuPaul in Beverly Hills, sans his famous drag trappings, pairing a Gucci Logo Print Tote Bag with a fab pink two button suit and white sandals. We’re unsure as to whether this specific bag is a men’s or women’s style (judging by its size, I’m leaning towards the latter), but we doubt Ru is overly concerned either way.
How bizarre was last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Orange County? Deeply bizarre, I think. Gretchen flew Slade around Orange County in a helicopter, and instead of having someone spontaneously push him out over the ocean like we all silently hoped she would, he landed and she was in what looked suspiciously like a cheap Vegas wedding dress, waiting to ask him to marry her.
And the luxury leather goods slap-fight continues! Just when you thought that LVMH might be appropriately chastened by its multi-million euro fine for using what amounts to using subterfuge and trickery to compile a rather enormous stake in family-owned Hermes, the French fashion conglomerate, helmed by Bernard Arnault, goes and does it again, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
